I don't think we will ever see another Patriots run whenever it ends. To me it's the most impressive sustained success in professional sports history not just the NFL. Like them or don't like them you have respect what Bellichick and Brady have done as HC/GM and QB.

No team will ever have another run like the Pats have had.

They are and will always be the best Dynasty the sport will ever see.

What's funny is....they were saying the same stuff about our run. Supposedly the Cap was gonna prevent it. However, we've seen when an All time Coach and All time QB get together for 15+ years in a league with no great teams they dominate.

Yankees, Celtics, Bulls say hi

Agreed. Also this factoid -

The Packers have won 13 league championships, the most in NFL history, with nine pre-Super Bowl NFL titles in addition to four Super Bowl victories. The Packers won the first two Super Bowls in 1967 and 1968 and were the only NFL team to defeat the American Football League (AFL) prior to the AFL–NFL merger.

The way the NFL is structured now, and over the course of their Dynasty makes the Patriots run much more impressive than any team listed above here. Its not even close really.

IMO, its much more impressive they have been able to do it in this era, than it would be in any other era.

Not Only is Brady the best QB in the history of the game, but Belicheat is the best HC in the history of the game.

Not sure where to put this but holy s**t look at this guys man cave

I just think each dynasty has its own impressive nature that distinguishes it from each other. Ours was done at a time and in a Conference that was ridiculously strong. Parcells Giants, Gibbs Skins, 85 Bears, Jimmy's Cowboys are all teams that surpass anything that NE has faced with a slight nod to Peyton's Colts. The fact we went 16 straight years with 10 wins in a league that head heavy still resonates.

The most amazing thing about Tom and Bill is that they are doing this for now their 17 year. Is amazing to think a HC/QB staying together that long. I would have given anything to have Walsh and Montana for 15+ years. I just think that the fact that there aren't any strong teams in the league allows this sort of longevity to amass these type of ridiculous numbers. We mastered the pre cap era and they've mastered the cap era.

If the Patriots had won XLII they'd be the greatest dynasty in sports, IMO (assuming every other season plays out exactly the same). I do think they're the greatest in the NFL when you consider the salary cap and number of teams in the league. The ten year drought they had from '04 to '14 hurts it a little bit though when you compare it to some other dynasties, but that's just how I see it. Only the 90's Bulls and maybe the 50's/60's Celtics and early twentieth century Yankees were better.

Our dynasty is the second-best in the league, mostly because we didn't have to deal with a salary cap. New England did. It is what it is. A team was bound to catch up to us after what's been a drought for most of the 21st century (except for the Harbaugh years )
