Longevity with one team skews the numbers a bit in my opinion. Over time Brady can pull further ahead just because he's been out there longer.

I always wonder what would have been if they had kept Joe over Steve. Could Joe have had at least 6 rings if he were the one facing the upstart Aikman led Cowboys or Favre's Packers? I kinda think he could have.
Young seemed less than playoff ready for quite a few seasons when they would get there. Young was regular season special but pretty squirrelly when it came to playoff games early on in his career.

If 4 of the top performances resulting in losses is a problem, clearly you are not looking for the goat. Because they were still individually the greatest performances. And this is the underlying flaw in this thread. It is a team game.

It was the 2nd play of the 4th quarter and there was still over 14 minutes left. Oh and BTW on the very next play in pure killer fashion Jerry scored on a Smash Concept.

Watch Brady win two more before he's done, set every statistical passing mark, be the winningest qb let alone football player of all time and you'll still get some here that will regurgitate 4-0 in the sb as the only thing that matters...

I know exactly what play he was referring to. I was just jokingly/sarcastically commenting that we were supposed to be disappointed the pick was dropped since that seems to be the attitude Chaz has been carrying in this topic.
But real talk: optimists get blamed all the time for playing the what if game. Same applies here. Billups dropped it so there was no interception. The end. We can say Brady is the GOAT but it has nothing to do with that play.

Except that game pops up every year. There's no single most important game of your life when you're elite.
Tom has made that game more than 2x than any other qb.

Bill Belichick could have gotten the same out of Alex Smith. Brady benefits from the system he is in just like all the Edelman and Amendola type guys.
