And overall it's an exact tie at .736. Brady playing in 2x the games.

Expanding the playoff pool to include more mediocre teams likely helped Brady's win %.

Truth. Except for the part in parenthesis. I still think Brady is the GOAT, I just think it's funny that when he makes a mistake, our "fans" immediately try as hard as they can to defend him and go into full force damage control mode more than they ever have for any of our own players ever lmao

But you're absolutely right. 505 yards? Who ****ing cares. ESPN for the next week and NFL Network for the rest of time isn't going to show the 505 yards to remember this Super Bowl by. They're going to be showing Brady sitting on the ground disappointed after his fumble. That was the iconic moment of the game. As much as it makes some of our "fans" seethe.

I swear, half your posts are wasted on complaining about other fans. I can't imagine other people's opinions affecting me on that level. It's okay if not everybody agrees with you. It's part of life.

Joe doesn't lose to backups

His SB wins comes from beating the likes of Dan Marino and John Elway.

LOL. Joe only needed to score 27 total points in those two games to win. Yeah, it was ALL Joe.

Back when dbs were allowed to cover wide receivers and quarterbacks were allowed to be hit.

As I stated in an earlier post, all opposing QBs won the MVP the year they faced Joe in the SB except for Elway who won it two years prior.

He faced the top opposing QB every time.

That's silly reasoning when Tom had to bounce a 5 time MVP to get to the SB. Not his fault they're in the sane conference.

?? I agree that Brady is the GOAT.

I was just commenting that it's funny how a lot of people on a 49ers fan forum invest all their time bashing the 49ers. Which is the truth. That's it.

Brady is 27-10.

And I was talking about Montana with the Niners. His playoff record in KC was 2-2.

I'm not bashing Brady......but to the bolded, Joe put up 55 points on what was the number 1 defense for points and number 3 defense for yards. People just think that Denver defense was s**t. It was not.

I'm aware of Joe's accomplishments but it's easier to score points when your defense keeps getting you the ball and can actually stop the other team.

The patriots did not punt once in that game and their defense only stopped the Eagles from scoring twice...once with a lucky interception that Jeffrey pretty much handed to the DB which still required them to march 90 yards for a score.

Not to mention the 89 team was one of the best teams to ever play in the NFL in terms of talent.

If the Pats D stops the Eagles once in the 2nd half Tom Brady wins #6.

Peyton was notoriously mediocre in the playoffs.

And Eli played mediocre in most regular seasons leading to numerous non playoff seasons.

Never lost in the SB that's all that matters.

lol which side are you arguing?

Yep. Never needed to cheat.

But it doesn't leave out his influence and pompous ego played a role.

How so? Did he create Jimmy's contract? Allowed it to expire this season. Did he tell Jimmy not to sign a few year cheap to remain as his backup? I'm pretty sure Jimmy said no to that on his own.

Everyone in NE knew it was either going to be Tom or Jimmy playing next year. It wasn't Tom's call he just was Kraft's choice. Bill would of picked Jimmy but he doesn't have final say.

The last sentence was sarcastic.

^^^^^^^THIS^^^^^^^^^

-Today's game is designed to protect the star QB's (see fines)

Joe had to get brutalized by the toughest defenses but managed to come out on top.

But pompous ego and arrogance does which Tom has displayed......the reasons fans hate him.
