Expanding the playoff pool to include more mediocre teams likely helped Brady's win %.

I still think Brady is the GOAT, I just think it's funny that when he makes a mistake, our "fans" immediately try as hard as they can to defend him and go into full force damage control mode more than they ever have for any of our own players ever lmao
But you're absolutely right. 505 yards? Who ****ing cares. ESPN for the next week and NFL Network for the rest of time isn't going to show the 505 yards to remember this Super Bowl by. They're going to be showing Brady sitting on the ground disappointed after his fumble. That was the iconic moment of the game. As much as it makes some of our "fans" seethe.

His SB wins comes from beating the likes of Dan Marino and John Elway.
LOL. Joe only needed to score 27 total points in those two games to win. Yeah, it was ALL Joe.
Originally posted by Garce:As I stated in an earlier post, all opposing QBs won the MVP the year they faced Joe in the SB except for Elway who won it two years prior.
He faced the top opposing QB every time.

Edit: Joe is 16-7 overall, Tom 28-10. Tom slightly edges him out.

I'm not bashing Brady......but to the bolded, Joe put up 55 points on what was the number 1 defense for points and number 3 defense for yards. People just think that Denver defense was s**t. It was not.

And Eli played mediocre in most regular seasons leading to numerous non playoff seasons.
Never lost in the SB that's all that matters.

Back when dbs were allowed to cover wide receivers and quarterbacks were allowed to be hit.

Yep. Never needed to cheat.

How so? Did he create Jimmy's contract? Allowed it to expire this season. Did he tell Jimmy not to sign a few year cheap to remain as his backup? I'm pretty sure Jimmy said no to that on his own.
Everyone in NE knew it was either going to be Tom or Jimmy playing next year. It wasn't Tom's call he just was Kraft's choice. Bill would of picked Jimmy but he doesn't have final say.
