LOL@Uggs

Graham > Brady

The real GOAT
If Lebron went to 10 finals and won 7 of them yes you could argue he's better than MJ. The fact is he only has 3 titles though. 6 > 3. 5 > 4 too.

No one is saying Lebron's 5 title or Brady's 3 SB losses makes him that special. It's the wins that do. Joe fans tend to hang onto some silly idea that a wildcard loss is better than a SB loss.

Now I do agree that career length factors in so that's a valid point for Joe and would apply to MJ too say Lebron did have a 7-3 Finals record. MJ sacrificed a few years. In reality though neither Tom or Joe or Lebron dominated like MJ. Once he became champ dude never lost anywhere.

Well if you are going to bring that up you may want to bring up the 8 pre op deaths the 2nd surgeon had coupled with the 3 surgery deaths he had

The ultimate goal is to get to the "surgery table" If you can't get there then you don't have a chance to live...

And Brady losing in those 3 games is the patient dying because the nurses couldn't get blood to the patient fast enough.

Well then we need to go back and blame nurse Craig for fumbling the IVs which cost the 2nd Dr a shot of being the only Dr to successfully perform 3 straight successful surgeries

The patient died because Brady fumbled the scalpel when he had a chance to finish off the successful surgery.
this thread is turning into gold

Two different sports which have no comparisons.

The doctor's job is to perform the surgery, not worry about picking up the tools...the nurses have to do their job.

Anyways....let's just all agree Jimmy G will be the unquestioned GOAT 10+ years from now.

Charles Haley.

Haley > Brady

I want the next Haley 2.0 in the 2018 draft. We already have Joe 2.0 in Jimmy GQ

Not the one who started the comparison. Sheesh.

I'm a Montana fan. Not so much a fan of Joe's fans. Their hatred of Steve always grew tiresome.

I know what you mean, re: two different eras' and two different rules - but people still have fun doing it. Just like people still are debating about Alex on the Alex Smith threads. There are still people debating Steve vs Joe too.

Joe never went into the big game with inferior teams. You can't say Joe doesn't lose/doesn't turn the ball over in the big game when he has done so earlier in the playoffs where he can't get to the big game.

Yes the Superbowl is the biggest game of the year but if you don't win your playoff games earlier you don't get to play in the Superbowl!

If anything you can make the case that the NFC was much stronger so him getting to the SB allowed him to play against inferior teams.

And if you want to say Montana played better in Superbowls that's fine but don't say Brady choked because that's ridiculous.

Brady had 2:21 with 1 timeout to score a TD. Holding him responsible for that fumble and saying he choked when the Pats never punted and he led them to 4 straight TD drives before that drive is sheer stupidity.

How about when you're the far superior team, your record is 18-0 and you lose the biggest game. That's a big flaw to me.
