If you're trying to debate in favor of Montana using stats, just stop. Stick to the "but the era!" argument and stop playing yourself.

Joe Montana is losing the GOAT debate in the most biased place in the world to hold this argument. Let that sink in.
IMO Brady was GOAT before this game. Last night just cemented it in every rational person's mind.

Not only at QB, but GOAT in the NFL.

Oh... hell nooooo

Get s grip....

Brady's elite attribute is his durability and consistency giving the pats mutiple decades to build around him.

That does not trump somthing like Rice's dominance in a running era.

From what his peers are saying. Your in the minority.

Only 1 champion a year, 31 losers

Lol this. It's not like Montana played only 4 years and won all 4 years. I lol at that silly argument. Apparently coming 2nd is worse than coming 3rd or 4th.
How many more rings would Montana have if he had all the sports science, nutrition, and physiology knowledge Brady has?

Agreed. Part of the reason Elway is higher up my list than others have him. Only 2 wins but 5 appearances.

Don't forget the Manning rule.

Montana had it rough with tough defenses back then that just pounded him. Then he would overcome it.

less because that would mean all the defenders he'd face would be on the same s**t. Lewis Billups makes that INT.

The sentiment I'm getting is that there's Brady hate around so I can understand why there are fans upset that Montana is second. I don't recall any Montana hate back then.

Time will tell, John Elway was the best ever too following his superbowl wins...facts will not change.... 10 years from now people still debate if Brady is the best QB... and the longer time goes on the more Brady will be missing that 55-10 domination victory.

Who is going to debate that Rice is the best ever at his position? He did what he did before the passing rules and dozens of 4K passers

Graham reached the Championship game in all 10 of his seasons and won 7.
I would like to see the uneducated fans bad mouth the stats those guys put up. Back when the deluded were arguing that Kap was as good as Steve Young comparing stats 25 years a part a few people started mention passing yardage and td-int ratios of some of the HOF QBs of the 60's and 70's. Many of them commented that quarterbacks from that era sucked compared to today. Of the two mentioned above I think Baugh needs to get the most versatile NFL player award by a landslide. One year he not only put up good QB stats he led the league in punting average, and also played DB where he made the most interceptions.
