I don't see how we even get close to 6 wins this season and I usually get Debbie off, not down

5 guys retired in less than a year so must be a coincidence right? I dont think that's ever happened to a team in 1 year... well technically about 6-7 months. Lattimore, Willis, Borland, Smith, Davis.... Like I said in another post I wouldnt be surprised if we start seeing an epidemic of guys retiring early on after getting paid and being set for life. Sign that rookie contract play a few years make a few million; if you know how to live within reason that's enough for the rest of your life. Hell I could live off probably 100-150k.

Lattimore serious injury history and most teams wouldn't have drafted him at all, Niners took a risk on a long shot.

Willis lengthy recent injury history, not young, steadily diminishing performance

Borland report serious shoulder injury history

Smith ended a fine career citing specifically injury and age as reasons

Davis has spent a lot of time injured in his early career

To me it's pretty damn clear whats going on here.

Lol. So who's getting arrested next?

Jerome Simpson on drug charges is my guess.
Jerome or aldon with the arrest. Jed on the dumb tweet and Eric Reid retirement all before training camp. Book it
Now Andy Lee gets traded to Cleveland, I'd retire before playing there.

Yeah I said i can see some of them since they are injury related BUT I just wonder if we still had harbaugh if they would have pushed through it and gave it another year or 2 for a chance at a super bowl.
Just a little retooling, that's all.

Coffee, Borland, Anthony Davis, the niners need to find out players commitment to football b4 drafting. This goes on the FO for drafting these players and the coaches for not keeping players motivated to play.

3 players that retired before the age of 26?????

One of these is not like the others. Retiring/quitting because you're concerned about your future health makes sense. Quitting because God told you it's what you were supposed to do is ridiculous.

The overworked argument may have some merit, but none of us would trade what Harbs gave us in four years. He was on heck of a coach. Compare his style and record with Lombardi or BB and I think you may not be so quick to go back to Walsh. Remember, Parcells worked Sims so hard he wanted to quit.
I hope this is a reload as Trent said, but if it is indeed a rebuild then I hope it is a quick one in which one or two drafts puts us back in the thick of it. I just hope we aren't subjected to eight years of purgatory like after the previous transition period. One things for sure, if we can't reshape the roster to a competitive one within a timely manner Baalke will be the next on the hook.

If the 49ers were a company with stock traded on the NYSE, all the analysts would be saying,"WTFs going on with this management team?" If a company had a sudden talent drain, with this type of mass exodus, they'd have major concerns. They'd be all over the them asking for explanations & strongly considering downgrading the outlook on their stock. That's what reasonable & logical people do.There is a very serious lack of confidence in this FO with the players, fans, analysts, journalists and it's throwing up more red flags every day.

But for some reason this forum has a disproportionate number of fanboy sycophants that in now way represent the majority of the 49er fans.
