Tomsula said Bowman had a 5 snap limit in tonight's game. Tomsula said he would have called a timeout if Bow tried to sneak back on the field lol
Man, how awesome was it to see Bowman back out there and immediately put his stamp on the defense. That was impressive considering it's his first game in nearly 20 months.
The guy looked like he hadn't missed a beat. It's amazing how fast, instinctual and strong he is. Uncanny.
Getting him back is HUGE. Dude is 3-time 1st-team All-Pro. His impact on the field pops off the screen.

You know it's been so long since I've seen either him or Patrick Willis at full strength, it was almost shocking the speed, strength and intensity Bowman plays with (for the record, I consider Willis and Bowman clones of each other. There is no telling who was created first). Seeing him not only hit that hole with the speed he did, but also deliver a textbook tackle was a pure joy to watch. That is how defense is to played and how it should be taught.
