Did Breida reaggravate now, or are we still talking about the injury 2 weeks ago?

If the latter, I agree we should let him rest another week. Wilson may be more useful than a 80% Breida with the weather expected to be terrible.

Given the Niners are clearly thinking long term here with injuries of players who probably could go, that's probably a pretty good indication on their own views of this game. If we win, great. But we're not going to sacrifice health here for a non-conference game.

Best Guess as of Right Now for New Orleans. I think Sherman sits and both Street and Verrett get activated. Why not. They are the only 2 that can be. McLaughlin gets cut and Sherman doesn't dress. I think we go light at Safety since Reed has experience there. J.Taylor goes on season ending IR.

They need to play Toilolo(if healthy) over Celek. Celek regressed dramatically coming back from his back injury. I don't think he's fully recovered from it.

I agree. But I think Shanny loves Celek. They could always get Toilolo back as a FA. No one is going to pick him up at this point. Although, the same could be said about Celek.

FWIW, I don't think they activate Street unless Jones can't go AND/OR if Taylor has to go on IR. My guess is Buckner would get some rotation at NT along with Day and Thomas if Jones is out. Holding out hope it's a minor ankle issue and he can play. I think he returned to the game on Sunday so that would be a positive.

Yeah, Jones' looked pretty bad. I bet that's a high ankle sprain. I'm guessing we don't see him until the playoffs. And with Taylor guaranteed out a couple weeks and Day sucking ass, Street just might have to be active. He does play inside now.
