Honestly if we go 2 QBs, and 3 TEs, I would keep 11 DL, I don't want them to cut Zach Kerr.

I think a 6th CB isn't needed, Johnson can go on the PS along with Webb IMO, plus if Mayden isn't on the 53, hopefully he's on the PS.

I still don't see a need for a 9th OL either, Coleman can go on the PS without going thru waivers.

Other than that it looks good, we'll see if Hurd can go next game, but I'm iffy on James, I just wish we had a better returner, I'd love for Ambry Thomas or Elijah Mitchell to win the KR/PR job.

Very impressed with Nsimba. Really good returner plus another top Gunner. Showed some skill at WR too. James very disappointing.

Hasty looked great. With Mitchell hurt and out for a few weeks, no need to start him on the 53 as long as we can get him on some kind of returning IR .

Have a strong feeling Jonas Griffith makes the 53. Heard the coaches are really high on him. He could probably make the PS but not sure the coaches will take a chance.Hard to imagine them keeping 6 LBs but that's what I have for now.

Initial 53

Thoughts:

- Benjamin played on 1st team against Chargers. Even though he may not deserve it, he is in the Kyle Click. I think he now makes it over Nsimba.

- Mathews looked too good against the Chargers. No one could cover him. I think he makes the initial 53 now. Pruitt had a pretty good day as well and he is a blocker. If Kyle is smart, they cut Woerner. Don't think anyone will touch him.

- Hurd is gone. No reason to keep him at this point. Too many needs at other positions to stick him on the initial 53

- I don't think Donte Johnson makes the initial 53, but don't be surprised if he's on the initial 48 on game day. He actually started for Mosely (hamstring) today in Charger practice which tells me Kyle trusts him more than the rookies.

-Very tough calls which shows just how talented the 49ers are this year.
-I am basing this 53 on what I think Kyle will do, not I.
-Not sure how it ends up today, but this is my projection for tomorrow, Wednesday.
-Have to keep Mayden. Good DB prospects get snatched up quick
-I think Kyle loves Flannigan-Fowels but will think he can pass through waivers easier. Most teams will overlook a 210lb LB.
-Jennings gets cut over Benjamin. Kyle loves the threat of speed to take the top off of defenses. Makes it much easier to open up underneath with his YAC Receivers.
-With 2 rookie CBs as backups, Kyle will feel he has no choice than to put Donte Johnson on the 53
-Kyle will stick with Pruitt as the 4th TE mostly because he's the second best inline blocker next to Kittle. Woerner is good in space, but needs to improve inline. Kyle will not want to take a chance and lose a lot of his running playbook should Kittle miss games.
-Lastly, it's Gallman over Hasty. Kyle needs that smart Veteran that can pick up blitzes. Plus, he is an effective runner.

Spot on . Surprised that Banks and Ambry will not be Up since there high draft status and i would like Hasty over Mitchell but it seems Mitchell has more juice on Special teams. So i can work with that
