This game will be barometer on how our season could go.
  1. i just hope we dont pull a Raiders
  2. this will not be a barometer of the season considering our OL needs a little time
  3. honestly, i dont want this team to shine too early
  4. hope our defense lights it up
  5. hope our run game is strong
  6. if the previous two show up, then we will be in the playoff hunt
s**t I want them to shine all season
feeling really nervous...

If you see a guy embarrassing himself, wearing a mask with his beard sticking out of it and pushing everyone to make MOAR NOISE.. that's me! :D

Let's go 9ers, show the world who doesn't know you who you really are!

Most teams that click too early in the season end up disappointing later in the year. No place to go but down. Walsh and Siefert always had the Niners make big runs in November December. It was like they turned on the second switch. Really want this team to get the quirks out now and start rolling in November.
Gameday!
Please let us be pleasantly surprised with how well our team plays in all three phases and how functional we are as a team. I hope we're opposite of what happened with the Raiders. They had high expectations and then were miserably disappointed. Most people have very low expectations for us. I hope we end up impressing a lot of people. Here's to hopefully a good night!
Tick ..tick...tick....tick....tick..tick..

About time Let's go Niners !!!!
Don't have ESPN so I might have to do that SlingTV trial just to watch it.
It's GAMEDAY!!! I have a good feeling about tonight's game, I think we will come out strong looking to silence all the media and haters.

Go Niners!!
I got four words for Adrian Peterson....

NaVorro.
Frickin'.
Bowman.

So loose now to work things out and hope for a November surprise surge? I suppose that that's the thinking of one has bought into the low expectations the media is pushing.

But couldn't an argument be made that getting off to a fast, winning start is important for team confidence and tone-setting, especially for a team like the 49ers who just endured perhaps the leagues worst, most unfortunate off-season in history? You don't think a good fast start would be helpful, especially given that the first half of our schedule is the toughest part of our schedule? After all, we do have the 2nd or 3rd hardest schedule.

I'm not saying that your position don't have merit. It does, especially when you look at teams like the Rams (who the media year after year waves their pom poms for) who starts fast but constantly disappoints. But the 49ers aren't the Rams. So I disagree, I very much think that a fast winning start will be very good for the 49ers.

IMHO
