#49ers tackle Joe Staley said Viking DE Everson Griffin told him after the game that he had never been so tired b/c of quick tempo offense.

they were incredible on D. Like they were in '11-'13." Shut down Adrian Peterson. Held the team to 3 pts despite the major gifts our STs gave them.
This team is ready go, after wk1: they look like the best running team in the league plus the best D..

Keep expanding that playbook.

Keep this in mind... defense and offense we are installing a bunch of new looks. This only WEEK ONE. We will be tested and tried, we will lose some games. But once this offense and defense is 100% comfy, sky is the limit!

Strong running game and great defense can take this team far, smart play by our QB may help us conquer that quest for six!

Just finished watching... Very impressed.
The defense looked excellent. Bowman is the best MLB in football, hands down. Mangini was spot-on tonight with the blitzes. The DBs held up well, but the front 7 made it easy on them.
On offense, I was pleasantly surprised. I can't express how excited I was to see Gore leave. He was good, but his lack of speed was killing us. Hyde played a phenomenal game. He's the real deal. The Oline looked seasoned with the zone blocking. I didn't expect that at all. Vance has been a bust thus far; however, he's found his niche. He's an excellent blocker out of the backfield. Kaepernick played a good game. I love the quick throws. It's vital to keeping drives alive and moving the chains. On D, I also need to highlight Lynch. He was all over the place and easily could've walked away with 3 sacks. He's going to be our sack leader this season with 12+.
For improvement, STs needs to rise up. Poor showing by the return team and FG unit. The penalties on Ellington return TD were pretty weak, but it negated a score nonetheless.
Vernon is playing his last season for us. He's overpaid at this point in his career. Not only does he have horrible hands, now he plays soft. He didn't fight for yards or show the nasty streak that got him drafted early. He's on his way out. No big loss though.
Those are my quick thoughts. Oh yeah, Peterson looked to be nursing his knee. Sucks for the Vikings.
Division outlook is pretty good. We have a brutally competitive bunch in the NFC West, but we have a better offense and a defense that can generate constant pressure. The early impression is that we're in the hunt.

Haters.....how many people in sea would like to be 1-0 right now? We won. How many more, who knows. We won, have faith, faithful. If you are.

True, but tonight was a very good sign that this team can compete. We have a winning fomrula. Excellent running game, best pass pro I've seen in a couple years, Kap light years more comfortable operating in the pocket, defense flying around. It was good to see. Teams will adjust to our style, but at the same time we'll be working to master the playbook. We're just getting started.

LOL! And Harbaugh was gift wrapping all the breathing time allowed for opposing Ds like a chump thinking he's some kind of an offensive genius.
