Well, Tomsula is no longer the only 1.000 winning coach in 49ers history.

I thought the 49ers stuck too long with the run game, but I can understand why. Would like to see what would have happened if they went pass heavy earlier, but that doesn't fix the 49er defense so perhaps a moot point.
It was hard to go pass heavy when the OL is letting guys through untouched.

Shhhhh, you better not say that too loud.
The dude must be drunk. If Kap looks fantastic then I look better than Brad Pitt. LOL.
Whatever floats your boat Rascal. Guess you do look better than Brad Pitt, because Kaep played ball today. Let you tell it, he had 50% completion with 3 interceptions. Man you're fun to be around. Peace out homeboy.

Vikings up 26-10 over the Lions. Clearly they aren't that bad of a team.
If Seahawks lose tonight I feel okay.

Doesn't get much easier next week, does it. Palmer playing some of the best ball of his career under Arians.
Divisional games are usually close though.

No not at all, he looked good even in the 1st half. He got no help from the OL or receivers that were dropping passes. He does look improved from last season. His continued progress is one of the few positive takeaways from this game.

that's it. offense clean up the red zone and punch it in. we proved we can move the ball even when the game was close.
but the defense is why we lost this game.

I agree the d was the issue today, but without the ref interference killing our long drives the game is much closer imo.

Kap played pretty good today despite being under pressure a lot.

Exactly. Everyones like, "look how great we look now". Why can't we look like this all game? Simple, Steelers aren't really playing hard anymore. The game is in the bag.
But people will look at the stats and say SEE we need to do this Kap can do that blah blah blah

That's exactly right. What concerns me is the pattern that this game revealed. Teams will pin their ears back and either blitz, or they will beat our o-line 1-1. That's the most concerting part, and it requires a very solid scheme to overcome. How we start against Arizona next week is going to say a lot about that.
Maybe but MOST teams don't have LBs as good as Shazier. He LIVED in our backfield.

Defense didn't show up. Playing calling on defense was just horrible. Running game and oline looked like s**t. Receivers dropped passes. Kap looked fantastic

Bowman did not have a single tackle in the game. Not good.

Same goes for the offensive line. They need to block better to give us a chance
The guys in the secondary held coverage for most of the time, the big issues on me on defense were specifically two.
1. Lack of pressure on the QB. They couldn't get to Big Ben, not sure if they hit him more than once today. Give any QB that MUCH time in the pocket, you can have Revis, Sherman, Earl Thomas and Ed Reed back there, you're going to get beat.
2. Miscommunication on defense. Wilhoite winding up deep in coverage, Reid not coming in over the top, in general the whole team looked off.
