Need to learn from it and move on. This year is just about development and needing to develop a gameplan.

Credit to the Steelers, they wanted it much more and were fired and up and played hard.

Arizona is going to absolutely wreck us next week my God

I bet ya the niners bounce back and win that game.

I agree 100% we will bounce back this game wasn't as bad if our offense started to throw more
Big problems on both sides of the ball today. Way too run heavy when Pitt was clearly playing downhill, and no downfield throws to keep them honest. Way too porous in the secondary, exacerbated by no pass rush. Lots to work on.
Whole team felt off today
DONT WORRY FELLAS...

WE DRAFTED AA TO TAKE CARE OF ALL THE OL'S GRAB SO THAT OTHER PLAYERS IN OUR D CAN PRODUCE THE SACKS!!!

I agree the d was the issue today, but without the ref interference killing our long drives the game is much closer imo.
Dude did you see all the drops and poor defense. I didn't see the refs drop the ball for Boldin or Miller and I did not see the refs tackle Kap short of the line. Hell they may have given us a first down on Davis run that probably wasn't a first. We played like crap, got out played out coached out toughed out everything.

Anyone just mentioning refs let alone actually blame this steaming pile of s**t game on them is off-their-rocker delusional.

The D stopped bringing pressure this last drive. Kaep had a solid game today from start to finish with not much help. You would think 9ers fans would be happy about that but you just want to talk smack. Kaep being improved is most important. Now can he do it next week? I'm excited. I don't care about the haters. Are there things to clean up yeah plenty. Do I like seeing them get blown out, no I don't. However Kaep looks a hell of a lot like 2012 and not much like 2014 which is the best thing for this season. It's week 2. Who else sees what I see? Or does everyone just see a sorry team that can't win with an inept coaching staff?
Kaep was the lone bright spot of the entire day, and Torrey somewhat as well. Feel waited far too long to start passing the ball. Kaep set career records for completions and attempts today and his completion percentage was really high even with several drops by the receivers.
The 2001 Carilina Panthers went 1-15.... They won their opener against the Minnesota Vikings.... and then lost every game after.... The precedent has been set....
Really don't understand how we went from 5/6 sacks last week to 0 this week! WTF D! It's only 1 loss! Great teaching tool. I still say after 10 games we are 5-5, and ready to make a run at the end of the season with two divisional games home and sub par teams to play.

Bowman did not have a single tackle in the game. Not good.

Hard to make a tackle when everything is thrown over your head for 50 yards.

This, I swear a lot of people here don't watch games
I watch the games they had 21 carries and several short screens and Bowman did not look like bowman of old. So maybe you should watch more and post less.

You truly believe that's gonna happen,

who needs fans like you
I think optimism, even on a day like this, is great.

I just think the 49ers are a bit over hyped at this point.

There are a lot of good teams out there, well coached, with some pretty good weapons on the offensive side of the ball.
There will be tougher games down the road, but today's loss was no real surprise. I also didn't think the Steelers could score over 40 points on this defense...that was surprising.
Doesn't look good overall. Onto the next one.
