Need a familiar formula today: ball control, no turnovers, ground and pound. We do that, we can pull this one out in a low scoring affair. If not, could get away from us. Go NINERS!

Keep the ball away from Ben and we no doubt have a shot

#49ers inactives: WR Ellington, RB Bush, C Easton, G Thomas, NG Purcell, CB Wright, OLB Lemonier.

Wright aint ever gonna play.
I think if they young guns keep playing well and stay healthy he may be cut. Lemonhead isn't far behind. When Kilgore returns someone has to go.
White and Davis active!

Inactives are Bush, Ellington, Purcell, Lemonier, Wright, Thomas and Easton.

I just love the fact that we have so many rookies suited up today. I know to some that means the team is tanking,, but to me, it means the coaches are not afraid of throwing these guys out there. how the hell are they supposed to learn? our entire rookie class could be very very special and they need this experience today in a hostile environment, on the road, vs a good football team.

Ben loves to take shots downfield when he sees 1v1 on the outside. Force PIT to dink and dunk down the field. Limit those chunk plays. Pound Hyde. Win.

I think that's purely because Silberman can play centre if needed
