That o line was f**king worthless

D is not the elite unit it used to be

End of game summary.

Good:
- Team didn't pack it in for the 2nd half
- Kap's accuracy and decisiveness when given time

Bad:
- No pressure when rushing 4
- Blitzes not getting home
- Safety play

Ugly:
- Martin/Devey/Pears
- 3rd down defense
- Drive killing mistakes in the first half (penalties, key dropped passes)
- Acker versus ABrown
I didn't think Devey played all that bad considering he plays between our two worst linemen. Tough spot to be in.

End of game summary.

This is the season summary actually. Unless Kaep and the O can get their sh*t together and produce, this will be the summary of every game.

Yup.

Prove it. If you cant you're just speaking out of the wrong end
Ugly: offensive and defensive game plan

Needed to attack their weak secondary from the start, should kept running off tackle

Why did we keep the safeties close to the line of scrimmage giving our corners no help. We should have just took the big plays away.

I know....

It's frustrating.

I feel bad for Kap....

Mangini played safeties like that in week 1. It worked because it was unexpected and Teddy is inexperienced. Now it will be exploited

If he continues to do it against a deep ball throwers, then we will get exploited. This was a game he should have taken a bit off the blitz or showing safety blitzes

Not an excuse but just part of the reason they got killed was that was a bit of unfair scheduling to make a west coast team play on Mon night, then go x-country to eastern TZ on a short week for a 10am kick vs team that's been off for 9 days.

Absurd scheduling for sure, especially with Pittsburgh already having 10 days off. It doesn't excuse the mental breakdowns we had today, but it does have an effect on guys coming out flat.

There is a reason West Coast teams have an abysmal record 10:00 am East Coast games. Now you make that team travel on a short week against a team with extra days rest. Absurd.

Mangini knows Ben, surprised he did that honestly. He probably thought he would be able to get through their OL but it back-fired. He gave Ben all day to throw pretty much. On top of that single coverage on Brown many times? Many of Ben's throws were just thrown in Brown's direction and it was either on the money or he was able to go get it.

Cardinal game is going to be a tough one. Palmer is playing out of his mind.

He sure is and if we can't pressure on him, we're in for a long day.

Wilhoite was supposed to have safety help. Bethea was awful today. He gets a lot of love around here but has always seemed overrated to me. He was burnt toast out there

Everyone in the secondary was burnt toast.
