Pears is a lemon.
The ultra quiet SP's from last week now have renewed fuel I see.

May want to check around the NFL for perspective.

Fangio is doing stellar without us.

Jekyll-n-Hyde Week 2. No excuses. That's just football.
I highly doubt there will be a repeat of today in Arizona next week. There were a lot of breakdowns in schemes in the secondary - probably due to lack of practice time. The offense was able to move the ball except for the red zone...

Yup.

Prove it. If you cant you're just speaking out of the wrong end

I'd like to see an argument for Fangio as well
As far as I'm concerned we still would have lost Willis-Borland-Smith-Smith
For me (a couple I haven't seen)

The good-
WE ACTUALLY MAKE A HALF TIME ADJUSTMENT THAT WORKED (or at least seemed to slow the bleeding)

The bad-
The offensive line
Vernon Davis
Hyde going east and west

The ugly-
Deangelo Williams scoring 3 times

I think some of those guys already stayed longer than anticipated. Justin Smith was talking of retirement a year ago, but I bet Tomsula convinced him to stay one more year and Justin found he just wasn't effective anymore. Same goes for Willis. Aldon's dumb ass still would have gotten drunk and smashed his car. And Borland still would have retired due to concussion concerns.

Fangio would have continued playing the same conservative defense with less talent across the board. The outcome wouldn't have been any better.

Yup. No one knows anything about the NFL right now. All kinds of crazy results. As for the 49ers, I expect lots of up and down and these young guys learn how to play.

On another note, I can't believe people are asking for Vic Fangio. Really? Buddy Ryan couldn't save this defense if you can't generate any pass rush.
Mr FUMBLES - the pain on Hayne last week for dropping a single catch then I watched so many fumbles in game 2 across the field that made me think - why all the hate on Hayne? where is all the haters on MR fumbles this week? and why in this thread the bleeding obvious "Ugly" of Mr fumbles was not even mentioned in the opening post?

Qft

Deandrew white and Hyde seemed like they greased up their gloves before the game. And kaep seemed like he was on a bad acid trip and the Steelers d in his mind were terrifying tyranosaurs.

33 yards passing in the 1st half...33 fricken yards passing? That's NOT just football, that is complete incompetence. The Patriots torched this Steelers D last week.

LMAO. Who are you?

AP had 31 total yards against our FRESH defense. This week? 134 yards.

Enough with coming out of the woodworks to add to the Whiner stereotype. Well done.
