We love your support and dedication and positive outlook. You can teach a lot of 'fans' in here what's its like to be a real fan IMHO.

As to Hayne, and as the team goes, both will continue to grow each week and evolve. Hayne will get more and more confident in special teams as will the coaches in him. His biggest role for us will be on returns and in return coverages. You can have a long great career that way. The more and more he learns about the RB position, the better. He's off to a great start. He's had some nice runs already and the key to getting and staying on the field is pass protection and right now, he's gotten extra snaps over Mike Davis for that reason. We do need a great compliment to Hyde (so we don't burn him out) so that is why the coaches are trying out Davis while Reggie Bush is out.
I don't want to give up on Devey and Pears just yet, I still have faith In our offensive line to get it together ...some our great teams got their asses handed to them early in the season too(eagles 94) , it's up to the team to learn from this ugly beatdown and implement the right schemes and develop confidence , it was one of those "take your lumps" games that teams can build on ...its better we got thumped this early in the season, now we have to fix what's broke and go from there

Just understand that there's a portion of the 49ers fanbase that acts as if they are holding a straight razor to their wrists, ready to start cutting at a moment's notice and it will all make so much more sense.

Yeah, that's a fair point. We know what they CAN look like. If the entire team didn't look like ass and it was JUST the OL, OK. But since the entire team, top-to-bottom played like ass, let's give this OL more time and see if they can forget this game and build off what they did in the Vikings game. Even as bad as they played last game (yes, even Staley and Boone played poorly), keep in mind, they did enough to get Hyde to #1 in the NFL in rushing through two weeks and CK still had over 300 yards passing and no INT's. It just looks sooooo much worse when you see a veteran like Big Ben stand in the pocket, order a pizza, pass out roofies, find an alibi, eat a Rothlisburger and not get touched the entire game.

And they will completely ignore an ass whooping put on the Vikings, hide for a week and the come storming back out of the woodworks once this team slips. We ALL know them all by name now so try not to be baited by these so-called fans. Their sole purpose in here is to get a rise out of you. And that is allowed in here passed off as "just my opinion" and because we have the option to "ignore them."

we kick the vikings but the only reason we did is cuz the vikings are a terrible team, so then the vikings go out and beat the lions which still does not give legitimacy to our vikings win cuz that just means the lions sucks. does that sound about right?

Thanks mate appreciate it. Its going to be a really interesting season. Looking forward to seeing where Jarryd fits in and also how the team bounces back after the tough loss last week too.

We hold AP to 31 yards when the offense is centered around him. He goes for 134 against a really good DL in Detroit the next week and yes, whatever minimizes how well we did, the better...so yeah, Detroit "sucks." LOL

It's a journey. As you guys know, sometimes one team comes out on fire and everything goes right and everything goes wrong for the other team and there is NOTHING you can do about it. That's sports! And if you look across the NFL, Week 2 was very odd...Jekyll and Hyde week. All the teams that got beat badly all bounced back and won the following week. Teams like the Hawks, Ravens, Giants, Eagles, etc. are all 0-2.

In short, it's just WAY too early to determine anything...no point in bashing the talent, FO, coaching, etc. Recognize it all in context. This week against the Cards (another tough matchup; similar to the Steelers) will give us additional insight as to who this team really is.

Very strange week when Manziel stomps Mariota, Winston beats Brees, Fitzpatrick beats Luck, Bortles beats Tannehill, Carr beats Flacco, and the Romo-less and Dez-less Cowboys beat Philly.

it was indeed a very unpredictable week of football. So many people who flourished in week 1, sucked in week 2 and a lot who sucked in week 1, flourished in week 2
