Will we make the playoffs?

anything is possible, if the D can play like they did in wks 1 and 4, and the O can play like they did last Sunday, at the same time - this team should win some more games this year

but playoffs aren't looking good at this point, can't argue that

& if m.y aunt had a penis she would be my uncle. Thats a really big if there man. Theres lots of if's this season. If the 49ers hadnt screwed over Harbaugh after he rebuilt the team, if Baalke had done his job & rebuilt the oline/secondary. If Kap finally becomes a franchise QB, if Mangini didnt call so many dumb blitzes, if Tomsula could speak in clear sentences, the ifs could go on forever. The fact of the matter is the 49ers have a terrible owner, gm & coaching staff, it could be years before this team returns to the playoff picture.

On a positive note we do have a chance at the #1 pick

Let me think Still thinking Getting there ahhhh NO!

ONLY IF they didn't have to play a passing team!
Defense is good IF they don't have to defend against the pass.

San Francisco has allowed 300-yard passers in three of the past four games. The 49ers are giving up 298.8 passing yards per game, the third highest total in the NFL.

Snow balls chance
Tjos thread redminds me of the famous jim Mora interview. PLAYOFFS, PLAYOFFS, PLAYOFFS, WE CANNOT EVEN MAKE A FIRST DOWN OR A TD ANDYOU WANT TO TALK PLAYOFFS, PLAYOFFS...
How about we try and get our 2nd win first. SMH
doubt it. They would have to win 9 out of the next 11 games to have a chance at a wildcard because I don't see them catching Arizona.
It's academic. There are 2 teams out there we can't beat. GB, Pats. We probably can't beat SEA nor Cards, altho cards sure didn't look that unbeatable today. ATL is probably another one. I would be happy if we just played well the rest of the yr and forget about the playoffs. OL sucks, DBs having a helluva time with the scheme, Kap has been off 3 of last 4 weeks(altho did way better last week)...so let's just hope our guys play well. I'd be very happy with that.
If we win,and Arizona somehow f**ks up again, we're only one game back.

But this is it, season rides on this game. Doesn't matter what Arizona does if we don't win.

Strength of schedule split up from week 1-7 and 7-17.

Not sure how to read but is it saying accumulative, we have the toughest schedule in the NFL all year long?

Harder schedules are at the bottom?

If that's the case then that kinda sucks.

And why the f**k doesn't Seattle have a harder schedule than us...Were they not in the SB

8 - 8 is the best we can do this year and NO, it's not gonna be enough...

Yes.

Seattle got lucky. They were supposed to towards the top but some teams turned it around and vice versa.
I think we have a chance at the wild card... a small chance, but a chance... Something like 1 in 5 or 1 in 4 chance. The win against Minnesota could help with that since they're looking like the best chance at the 2nd wild card spot right now (1st spot going to NFC south)

If we somehow end up at 10-6 there's a good possibility, but that's a BIG IF.
