They had their chance. 49ers DID show a bit of imagination in signing Hayne. Have shown NO imagination is playing him though!!
Hayne wont leave unless cut.

I think Seattle were equally keen and it was Hayne who chose the 49ers because of Jim Tomsula. It could be argued that was actually the first fumble of his NFL career. I agree that he won't leave unless pushed out, he's loyal.

The silver lining to this 49er debacle is that, although he isn't playing much, he is training his arse off and learning stuff everyday. I'm sure he reads media reports. His mates will be telling him what's being said. His manager will be more than aware of what's going on. It might not seem like it but he is in a pretty good position.

Jarryd Hayne is a confidence player i followed his career in nrl for many years he has freakish tackle evasion skill also a skill you guy's would not know off is his ability to kick long range punts and field goals from 40-50 meters out under pressure. If you wont give him game time send him home.

What's cool is that people are beginning to catch on. I have been doggedly extolling the talents of Jarryd since he was signed. I know a bit about rugby and if he has been killiin it down under, that made me take note. Some of you have been making nice comments about my observations, but in the end it is clearly the growth of the people here who have had an open mind to what I've been saying and see it for themselves, that is what is cool. I can't believe that after the preseason taste of what he could do, the whole freaking coaching staff didn't want a shot at giving him something to do. I know that, the preseason got me so involved with just what is he going to do next. Man oh man, if I felt it I know everybody else was feeling it to. some of those punt returns were magical, a catch on the sideline and bam he goes full speed up the same sideline where there was no room to run and with a subtle move that I frankly didn't see, even with slow mo replay I didn't see how he did it. the magic was that he was running full speed forward towards the guys that wanted to tackle him and folks, that is really really hard to do and run by people as if he gave them a ghostly part of his body that didn't exist and then he took it away and they fell for it. What I described is impossible but that is the way it seemed, perception is everything and I'd be willing to bet his team mates saw it as well. If they didn't actually see it like I didn't, they saw the result.
I hope what I just said made sense, it did to me in an abstract way. If it made sense to you, please tell me because what I am trying to describe isn't easy and I'd like to think that I said something that made sense to someone. Thus far , you guys have appreciated my attempts at describing what I see which inspires me to try and do it more.

He has been called the Lebron James of the nrl and some in the media and also Tomsula seemed to think that referred to how famous he was in oz but its not about that, its about how he can seem to make time stand still while it keeps moving for everyone else, and do things that beggar belief. He's on another level. Will we see it in the nfl? Time will tellOriginally posted by keithhr:What's cool is that people are beginning to catch on.
