I know a bit about rugby and if he has been killiin it down under, that made me take note. Some of you have been making nice comments about my observations, but in the end it is clearly the growth of the people here who have had an open mind to what I've been saying and see it for themselves, that is what is cool. I can't believe that after the preseason taste of what he could do, the whole freaking coaching staff didn't want a shot at giving him something to do. I know that, the preseason got me so involved with just what is he going to do next. Man oh man, if I felt it I know everybody else was feeling it to. some of those punt returns were magical, a catch on the sideline and bam he goes full speed up the same sideline where there was no room to run and with a subtle move that I frankly didn't see, even with slow mo replay I didn't see how he did it. the magic was that he was running full speed forward towards the guys that wanted to tackle him and folks, that is really really hard to do and run by people as if he gave them a ghostly part of his body that didn't exist and then he took it away and they fell for it. What I described is impossible but that is the way it seemed, perception is everything and I'd be willing to bet his team mates saw it as well. If they didn't actually see it like I didn't, they saw the result.
I hope what I just said made sense, it did to me in an abstract way. If it made sense to you, please tell me because what I am trying to describe isn't easy and I'd like to think that I said something that made sense to someone. Thus far , you guys have appreciated my attempts at describing what I see which inspires me to try and do it more.
Keith your either on Haynes Public Relations team or will be in the future. That kind of stuff your talking about is 50% athletic ability 50% natural instincts...either you gor it or you dont, you cant be trained to do that.
