Obviously, like Tomsula, you have no imagination... Hayne plays with freedom, flair, creativity and imagination. THAT is what has won him so much praise. From getting him on a roster, record fan sales, praise from media and all time greats who know A LOT more about the NFL than you.

Mone't

All painted 'rosey (sic) Pictures...'. You are a hack on an obscure chat forum. Get over yourself. You cal for his end. People who really matter in the industry are calling for him to have more game time.

this is an opinion thread and has exercised their opinion justly - no need to shoot it down

We can look on the bright side. He only lost1 out of 3 fumbles tough. Given the broken levee he runs behind his 3.1 ypc is "respectable." Honestly, I wonder if Jed wasnt scared of alienating a whole continent besides the one he lives in, Hayne is camp fodder...

I dont paint rosey pictures.
I don't get it though, why the obsession with fumbles? one of them his first touch, another his own player running into him.

Does his ability to beat defenders for fun count for nothing? Do SF have lots of players who can do this? It doesn't seem like it.

They're losing, and they're going to stay losing unless they try something different.

There's a difference between having an opinion and being a smart arse troll. If someone makes a comment like...

."Those PRESEASON games you guys are ejaculating over were against camp fodder."

Then he's going to get an adverse reaction from someone.

Camp Fooder by definition is a player that gets tooled in preseason by a 1st time lad from rugby who can juke you.

Then he gets in a real game and does what? muffs his 1st try./ ok- i dont care because it's his 1st try.. Then I remember him getting a punt juking a player and not protecting the footbal fumble number 2. how many punts has he returned? I know you Aussies know,. well he has fumbled 2 of them?

*** CORRECTION ***

HE HAS FUMBLED 3 times on 8 returns... Good bye with this thread.. Frankly, today ----> next 8 games HAyne is a chump, just like the rest of this team.

The usual preseason means nothing dumb response. Rubbish. He has already done similiar plays in the real season like his 37 yard PR so stop making out that his preseason means nothing. It was already mentioned that some of those players he beat in preseason were NOT chumps and were actually regular players not noobs.

You do realise Hayne hasn't dropped the ball as RB unlike other guys? 2 of those PR drops were from outside interference anyway and not just him fumbling all by himself.

Your response is typical as to why the 49ers are going nowhere because you are too focused on the negatives and too afraid to actually give a big play guy like Hayne a decent run. The team has already lost multiple games and Hayne was NOT to blame for this, yet your worried he MIGHT make a fumble let alone the minute chance it might cost them the game. Why don't we bench all those guys that have lost them games then?? Remember who was only guy that stood up against the Cardinals?? Yes it was Hayne.

Let him play and then we will see who the real chumps are.

Losing possession of the footy in this game is very bad. Jarryd has got to hang on to the ball, it's the single most important thing he has to do. That's just the way it is.

Because if he fumbles it the team might lose? oh wait...they're being stuffed nearly every week without him.

What a risk

On top of it all you have a chump QB who literally threw the ball to the opposition multiple times and he keeps getting picked.

Mate, we've been down this road a million times already and there's nothing to see.

Don't waste your time, because there is not much consistency with some of the arguments on these boards. On one hand you'll see, "that was pre-season, it means nothing" then on the other you'll see "that guy tore it up in pre-season, he should be playing", it often just depends on the posters preconceptions or agenda as to which way they see it. That's ok though, it's just an opinion forum after all.

Oh, and as for Kap, he's copping a #7hitload more flak than Hayne in reality.

Thats true mate losing possession is not good but many players I feel in the same situation as his last two would have lost the ball as it was stripped/smashed out of his hands. They were more to do with situational awareness than butter fingers. I'm sure he has learn't not to put himself in those situations now.

No fumbles as RB either so really its only 1 glaring fumble as PR and even then it was his first PR and no doubt nerves would have contributed.

I just don't get why you would let fear of what would now seem a slim chance (given what Jarryd has learned since) of a fumble hold you back from using a big offensive weapon like Jarryd. Its an even slimmer chance of his fumble costing the game. Hayne has the potential to be a game changer and has already contributed to the team scoring off limited opportunities why would you not put him out there for a decent run when the team is getting flogged anyway? Hopefully sense prevails this week and they play him or things are going to get even uglier!

He's still got a lot more game-time relative to the screw-ups.

I heat ya mate but the reality is staring me in the face. The coaches and most of the Americans couldn't give a stuff about what we say on here. They just want perfection from their team. The Not For Long is just a big churn of potential talent. Draft picks come, some are kept, most are discarded. Mike Davis has done nothing yet. Jarryd will get more game time but, and I hate to say it but he is going to have to be perfection personified from now on. It's a shame really. He comes on cold, does one play and goes off. Doesn't really get a chance to get into the game. This creates too much pressure. But things can turn around quickly. If he can string together a couple of good plays it will make a hell of a difference.
