What to do with Jarryd Hayne?

Hayne is learning, he wont fumble as much now as he said ball security more vital than trying to run yards, also wtf with lock threads, dont the natives understand when they have a whole new generation of overseas fans theres gonna be a lot of outrageous topical threads showing?!?

The mods talk about locking threads in the forum rules. The thread yesterday was probably locked because:

1) It was another Hayne thread. They don't want a million threads about the one player popping up and stinking up the board for other users.
2) The thread was most likely going to cause disharmony because of the topic. i.e. Play Hayne or cut him so he can go to a rival team. Pretty much troll bait given that this type of discussion has already appeared in Hayne V2 and started a bun fight.

ST coach just said the 9ers are happy with Bush returning punts. That means Hayne sits out the Rams game as well. 9ers coaching staff are s**t.

For 24 million Australians sake, cut Hayne so he can go to another team. He may not get a start there either, but at least it will be a better team team to watch that isn't tearing itself apart from the top down..... (Seattle).

Damn. I went out and bought two dozen eggs this morning in preparation for the game Oh well they should keep for a month or two

Fact is Bush is a reliable and well-known quantity as a punt returner and Hayne is not. Not sure why you think Hayne should be playing over an almost 10 year veteran who has the experience. Seems the 49ers aren't going to cut or trade him anytime soon so probably best to be patient until he gets more chances.

How is that a fact? Bush hadn't retuned a single punt since 2011.
He is Mr Glass and he backs up the 49ers best offensive weapon is playing on a broken foot that absolutely can be damaged further.
They should let him be the punter ffs.

I know it missed but dude has a great boot on him.
Very difficult for Hayne to learn American Football in a team with so much turmoil and drama, almost impossible.

What does ffs mean? I've seen you post it ca couple times now.

IE, he has experience doing it and has done a relatively good job and can hang onto the ball when he's back there. It's not a surprise this coaching staff trust him more than they do Hayne.

More specifically, Bush has 5 career fumbles in 99 returns. Hayne has 3 in 8. Not a hard choice for a team that can't afford costly turnovers right now.

The situation were we're at now is probably how it was originally envisioned. Don't forget the practice squad was the initial plan. Playing a few games and missing a few is a much better idea than the practice squad. Just be happy that he's there. Keith will be pissed but there's not a lot we can do about it.

Where did I say not to play him? Point that out please. I am saying you make stuff up to suit yourself. You are also argumentative. You manufacturing what you would like me to say to make your argument stick is, once again, delusional. You've already got egg on your face because you can't deal with facts and truths. You get defensive and argue every minute point, yet none of what you say is based on reality.

I'll be happy if you can go blurting about saying I've got egg on my face, because that means Hayne will have succeeded. It won't be down to anything you've said on here though. Believe or not, ramblings on here will have no outcome on Hayne's success.

I'm posting evidence showing what Jarryd has done and why he deserves more game time yet you continually dispute and downplay it acting like he has done nothing. I think you are the one being delusional ignoring facts. We get that you are a pessimist who likes to focus on the negatives such as continually highlighting his fumbles without acknowledging the difference in each one and alluding that he is not ready etc. Well that hasn't stopped experts and fans alike calling on him to be made active again.

Your insulting some of the pro Hayne passionate supporters as 'hyenas' etc yet your the one getting annoyed when they post a response?? I think thats called self inflicted pain there. You also seem to like playing the pity card saying people are making out your big mouth clowns (which I don't recall anyone saying). Also sometimes your supporting Hayne then next making jokes about him. At least I'm not on the fence like that. I was about to move on yet your the one who is being argumentative and engaging in borderline trolling trying to get a reaction posting stuff like this

"Originally posted by Strine49: mvp. The F*-mumbler from down under. "

Ive tried to be civil with you a number of times if you read some of our previous conversations and have a reasonable debate but you don't seem to be able to handle it and need to resort to stuff like the above. I'm an optimist, so sue me. Do you want him to actually play or are you like the coaching staff too fearful of these 'mistakes' which you seem to think are going to keep occuring. You don't know that. The only way to find out is to get him on the field and now is the perfect time because the team is in a terrible state as it is. You don't seem to get this. They need a spark so why not play him and find out its not rocket science. Who Dares Wins.

On the field Hayne can make his own room with his ability to make opposing player's miss tackles on him this is what most people here don't understand. If common sense is ever to prevail for just once this season give Hayne a full game and then form your opinions. .
