What to do with Jarryd Hayne?

I struggle to understand the mentality here. Surely a player needs to play in matches to gain match situational awareness. Practicing on the training paddock only gets you so far.

It's like the argument about pre season meaning diddly squat. How does performance in practice mean anything if pre season means very little.

Give the bloke a run in match conditions ffs. Pr, gunner, and rb2.
Hey Aussie friends I watched rugby today and I was entertained.

Considering Hayne has fumbled 3 times in 6 games iam actually highly surprised at the positivity from most Americans towards him,i was expecting them to want Hayne to spontaneously combust, this shows me they think he actually has talent and is at least worth keeping around for a while

You sir would be incorrect to assume such things. I enjoy other sport besides the ones forced fed to us by the over commercialized United States media.

Roger Craig believes in him and he should know talent when he sees it. I don't get why a few guys still want him gone when he has hardly had a chance to prove himself. If he can get anywhere near his preseason form he is going to light it up.

I really think that 37 yard PR is just the start of things to come. Give him a decent amount of time on the field for the rest of the season and then if he doesn't perform look at cutting him. I feel given more chances though he will rip it up.

As bad as fumbling is the team has much bigger problems to worry about than that. For one they are pretty much the lowest scoring team in the NFL at the moment. The offense sorely needs a big playmaker to spark something. If Hayne is helping the team score I can take a fumble every now and then but I think he is learning fast and those will now be few and far between. However having said that he hasn't even dropped the ball as RB this season as far as I know unlike other guys.
