Would say Sing is better than Nolan & Erickson also. Not saying much. If Sing had chosen a good OC.. And actually let that OC run an offense instead of running Frank Gore though A gap every play.. Would have had more success

vernon davis was making waves way back then......being the longest serving inmate in the locker room he was obviously controlling most things social.....I dont think singletary fix him proper back then...he smoothed over the problem.......baalke fix him proper by trading him out.....sometimes a player thinks they are bigger then the game and the team.....when that happens they have to go....a team will never win with a player playing politics..does not matter how good the player is he has to go

I saw it but not just for the 49er coaching tenure. I knew Sing was one of the best MLB in NFL history and I remember watching him play. 80's was my era so I wanted to see some of the inside details on his career. Now back to him coaching our team. Well all you need to know is at the end of the show there's scenes where Singletary is still trying to learn offensive plays and formations.
