Can we fix the OL thru FA?

Will Davis come back?

Will we sign a FA or two?

Are we using our 1st rounder on the OL?

Why didn't we sign Mathis?!?!?

This line is pathetic.
Absolutely. Bring in Alex Mack at center, insert Daniel Kilgore at RG. The draft is deep at tackle, so we can let a rookie (not a first rounder), Anthony Davis, and Trenton Brown battle for the right tackle position. That would leave Andrew Tiller, Brandon Thomas, and maybe another veteran guard that we sign in free agency battle for the LG position. Or we could sign Alex Boone. I'm thinking at worse, that should give us a middle of the pack O-line.
Brown and Davis won't be battling for the position. Davis will start. But you can definitely can fix the o line in FA
Definitely fixable.

I'm all-in for bringing Mack in at center and moving Kilgore to RG. That will also give us a very reliable backup center if Mack goes down.

Also, we really need to get Staley's replacement sooner than later - age is slowly catching up with him.

I just don't feel confident in ADavis returning.

I don't know the RT options at FA but it's definitely worth looking at.

That seems to be the plan.

Will we sign a FA or two?

Most likely.

OL, Pass Rusher, or QB

Why didn't we sign Mathis?!?!?

We're rebuilding. He's a veteran looking to sign with a contender. He was never an option.

This line is pathetic.

Yes

Anthony Davis is clearly the better player, but you can't hand him the starting RT job after being a year out of football.

And who knows what sort of shape he might even be in...or what his level of dedication will be. Drafting a tackle in a tackle-rich draft is a must.
Sure but our p***y front office wont do it

The Niners need SO MUCH. O-Line.....I want SOME competent veteran help. WAY too many issues to spend a #1 on O-line. I'd look to trade down a bit with the rather high #1. My target with a middle #1.. impact WR. I think now.. WR is a spot where a good bang for the buck can be a big boost rather fast. O Line ...it takes awhile for rookies to blend. QB? We WILL draft a QB. NO... not Goff. The game he had 4 intercepts in the first half? NOT okay. Rather than bet big on THAT... I want to cherry pick the STEAL that's apt to be there on rd 2 or 3. I don't see a QB in this draft who is WORTH a rd 1. I want some D line boost. I want MORE picks. I want a DEEP draft. While I'd try to get value about rd 3 or 4 for O-Line.. I'm FINE with using FA to get the line better. THIS mess won't be fixed overnight..or in 2 years. We need VALUE. We need impact. We need to shoot Baalke... or ship him far far away. We need REAL coaches.
Yes we can
Trenches. Trenches. Trenches.

We've got so much cap space its rediculous. Imagine if Kap doesn't come back, thats an extra 12 million a year.

I think our Oline is in worst position than people think. How much longer can Staley play? By the time we turn this ship around, Staley will be in his mid 30s.

I dont like promoting Boone, because if he becomes our left tackle and out plays his contract, he'll hold us hostage for more money. He's the anti Staley.

I like it. I still would not put too much stock into AD coming back better than ever, but as long as Pears isn't active on the Niners game days next year I'm good.

I end to agree about Boone.

Who in FA would be a realistic choice? I'm thinking 26 years old and relatively injury free.

Joe Thomas??

Are we using our 1st rounder on the OL? - Both lines need to be rebuilt.

Why didn't we sign Mathis?!?!? - He stated that he wanted to play for a contender. 49ers we likely never an options

This line is pathetic. - Yes it is

Davis and Kilgore coming back should help but I'd add some guys through FA.
