Everybody is stuck on mack...he's not coming here...he likes Cleveland and even if he did leave it would be for a rebuilding 9ers team??? Cmon guys be realistic here
I'm intrigued with moving AD to RG. It seems like several fans were calling for that even before he left. He was a dominant run blocker, but he struggled at times with speedy edge rushers.

IF they signed Mack, could Kilgore move to LG?

A potential interior line up of:
Kilgore - Mack - AD

If not Mack, is there an alternate OC they could target?
Go hard after Osemele and draft a RT and C early
Whats all this talk about Anthony Davis coming back? I know he hinted about it a couple of months ago, but do the Niners feel the same way? Did more info come out?

Don't get me wrong I would love to get the best center in the game but its not happening..someone like Steven wisniewski or Ted Larson would be big time upgrades and actually realistic..also maybe we can kick a guard to center if worst comes to worst

I'd rather have a veteran OC. That's a lot to put on a rookie. Of they slide Kilgore to OG, and keep Martin, they should have plenty of OC depth.
Sign either Schwartz or Glenn to a big deal. RT is Schwartz or Glenn, Davis at RG, Kilgore C, LG is Brown/Thomas/Martin, Staley LT. That or sign Osemele and make it Staley, Osemele, Kilgore, Brown/Thomas/Martin, Davis. If Davis doesnt come back we can always draft a tackle in the 1st or 2nd to compete. I'd prefer to go Goff/Lynch especially if we go with a new head coach that wants to pass. I can understand a Tackle or someone like Jaylon Smith but it wouldn't be my preference. Edit: and itgoes without saying but let Boone go and use the money on Osemele, Schwartz or Glenn

Stopped reading after this. This is as bad as Jeff Geoff.

Mack has wanted out of Cleveland for years and has made his feelings quite well known.

He's a California guy that went to Cal, if the 49ers make him a good offer I'm willing to bet that he would sign, its not like there will be a ton of top teams flush with cash to throw around. Most of the teams that pursue him will be those that are struggling as well.

This Oline has been broken all year. Why isn't it fixed? The is simply no excuse. Coaches need to fall on the sword.

9 sacks. This turd cannot be polished. Clean out time, Cut cut cut

Dude...I called him Jeff goeff...whoopty doo bro...hit the Blunt one 2 many times... Not a big deal really just a mistake...doesn't mean I don't know what I'm talking about... Mack has actually said he's happy to be back in Cleveland..now were those just words or did he mean it well never know but I don't think he's leaving Cleveland for us...he will go to a contender... Every team in the league will lineup to get the best center in the league its gona be an uphill battle tryna get him
Funny, I remember screaming for us to draft da kid right down the street in Berkley, when lots of yall wanted BJ Radji.. Mack totally handled him at combine. But definite wud like to see Mack and Kilgore at C and RG respectively. Draft a LT that can play on RT to get battle ready. Davis coming back would help and maybe Pears can be a backup at both Guard and Tackle positions. Our Offense LOOKED THE SAME AS WHEN KAEP. WAS IN DER, proving the problem wasn't him. Gabbert sacked 9 times?? So much for his "better pocket awareness and film study".. Also, remember we fired our OLINE coach from last year, and bought back "Foerster Failure"..revamp the offensive staff!!
^^^^exactly the staff is the major problem

Who in FA would be a realistic choice? I'm thinking 26 years old and relatively injury free.

Joe Thomas??

Thomas is a year younger than Staley
