Well I don't think any quarterback on this roster is the answer. Kaepernick definitely isn't, Gabbert might be a very good backup, solid game manager.........they have to add someone at the most important position.
I don't think anyone is under the illusion that this is a great coaching staff. They all need to pack their bags at season's end, right now they appear to be coaching more to try and hold on to their jobs than to win games.
I disagree entirely. Kap has shown and proven more of a winner than most of the QBs in in this league when playing in an offense suited to him.
This Geep offense is awful but it fits Gabbert and he's still playing horribly.

This....not only are the play designs consistently well short of the marker. They're designed to the TEs who are not going to get you 8-9 yards after the catch...
