Another ex-Duck I'd like to see get a training camp invite is Jeff Maehl. This guy could be a wicked slot reciever like Julian Edleman. He's tough as nails at catching in traffic, has good hands, and posted one of the best shuttle run times in combine history.

i would rather the team bring back reggie than james.... however your theory on chips x players is food for thought

If we can get the QB right, with the players coming back from injury and the money we have to spend along with high draft picks and some developing talent like Atmstead, Dial, Ward, Lyncg, Hyde, Tiller, Brown, Taratt we could surprise people next year if we do this right. The tools are there, Trent and Chip just have to execute.

Who are you gonna replacing everyone with?!! You want to throw all our cash at one player? Wilkerson is gonna get tagged without a doubt and I'm not in favor of trading for him.

Ellington and Patton aren't going anywhere we need as many WRs as possible with chip. Vance isn't worth cutting there's upside there with chip. He actually made plays when the ball was thrown to him.

Why you cutting Kilgore and Martin? Kilgore is fine for chips offense and Martin is at the very least going to be in during training camp. I like tiller but can he get to the second level as a OG? That's what our OGs are gonna have to do, they need to be athletic.

There's gonna be some changes but the team isn't getting gutted like chip tried to do this past season in philly IMO

Honestly would mind LMJ getting a training camp shot. Harbs never really gave him an opportunity to play. I thought he was pretty good his rookie year the few attempts he had. I think he had over a 4 YPC too. Once that fumbled happened Harbaugh forgot about him. Thought that was unfair.

I totally disagree with Vance being gone. He could have a very big season in Kelly's offense.

Harbs didn't really develop any of our rookies IMO...bring him in why not lol. I think Harris is a keeper though.

It's not like he lit it up with other teams. He did nothing with the Dolphins and chip passed on signing him with the Eagles.

With that said, I'd take LaMike back. Gives Baalke a shot at redemption with one of his busts & should be loyal to Chip.

Hasn't this fallacy been blown to shreds? Pretty much every good player played as a rookie. Guys like Patton, LaMike & Carradine just aren't that good. Not yet at least.

Pretty sure SC ran a bunch of zone running concepts while Davis was there (if I'm wrong please let me know lol) why is Acker gone? He's super cheap and basically coming off his rookie year. I think Vance could have a big year with chip don't see anything changing there.

Miller doesn't have a role in chips offense sucks like him but chip has no use for him.

Well, perhaps LMJ has eaten his humble pie after getting cut by the dolphins. But he knows Chips system, and excelled in it. If you just look at his return averages, and yards per carry averages his last year as a 49er, they were all above average.

Huh???? Why in the world would you get rid of Vmac, Patton, and Ellington when we finally have an offensive minded HC? All 3 of those guys could take off this year

I don't think it's been even close to blown to sheds...he rode out vets hard and the only time our rookies got snaps was because of injury or a open spot.
