That's not true, though. Aldon, Bruce, Kendall Hunter, Carlos Hyde, and Jimmie Ward all got some PT as rookies. All good players.

Who do you wish played more? I used to feel the same way until I realized the guys I wanted to see play just aren't that good.

Aldon played on 3rd downs his rookie season ( an he'd better get snaps being the 7th pick in the draft), Hyde had what 83 attempts his rookie year, jimme Ward took over a open postion that didn't have a vet in place some with Reid.

I saw no development from harbs an his staff go look at how much our vets played under him...it lead to them breaking down and some retiring early IMO.

We were top 5 in defense and rushing in Aldon and Hydes rookie seasons(IIRC), so it's not like we were hurting ourselves. Hyde got banged up and Frank was clearly better.

So, again... Who do you wish played more?

I would have liked them to allow the younger players more snaps keep the old vets fresh...harbs didn't do this and by the end of the season Players like gore and Justin smith were banged up because of it.

I like to think players get better with more snaps and a lot of our young players never had that chance...alway have to developing for the future.

Lol...this is what actually I told someone. RT, RG, and LG need to have needs replacing.

Keep Miller as a H-back, special teamer and base packages that needs a run blocker and can catch out the field. Don't let him go.

RB-Davis running style is north south. Don't know how he'd workout.

DL-Jerrod-Eddie can go.
CB-Acker ""
OLB-Lemonier ""
SS-Bethea ""
ILB-Whilotte ""
TE-McDonald(at least shouldn't be starting)
WR-Simpson

(Trying to think of more)

Pretty sure SC ran a bunch of zone running concepts while Davis was there (if I'm wrong please let me know lol) why is Acker gone? He's super cheap and basically coming off his rookie year. I think Vance could have a big year with chip don't see anything changing there.

Miller doesn't have a role in chips offense sucks like him but chip has no use for him.

Those are the positions that I feel need better starters. Besides Davis I thought Drougns and the new kid Harris seem to look more explosive.

Johnson is better. And I'd still would want a Number 1 corner. Miller catches Bette than Vance. They both can go. But I did say Vance just didn't need to start to me.

I think there's a misunderstanding some new users don't understand is that, Chip will not have control of player management otherwise Balkkee would not have hired him.

True. However, if players that Baalke gives him are not up to snuff then Kelly will discard them regardless. Unless of course if there are no other options open to him. This could be a separate debate.

Fair enough- I used to get bent out of shape over it (I was big on Carradine and QP before we drafted them) but time has kind of shut me up. I thought our roster was better than it really was before 2015.

Wasn't trying to be a dick if that's how it came off. Just really underwhelmed with some of the guys I wanted to see more of.

Oh I no I know you weren't being a dick just talking niners
I think yall jumping the gun on LMJ. Its not like he brought him to the Eagles. I don't recall him briniging in a ton of Oregon players at Philly. A ton of pac 12 players in general but not specifically Oregon though. I just think LMJ isn't a good nfl back.

Kinda hard to judge Davis off of 35 attempts ya know? I like Harris as well but Davis is here for a couple seasons and chips offense needs RBs.

I like DJ just depends on what the DC wants to run I like him as a press man. I'll take pass rush over a top corner all day every day.

Miller isn't a TE and doesn't have a position in chip's offense. There will be some competition for the top TE spot let the best man win!
