Their QB situation worse than ours but their defense is great so they will make the playoffs. SMH

Does Sanchez have a died arm?
Did a backup blow an ACL?
Do they have a R who can run but not throw?
Did they just sign a QB who sucks?

Is having a fatigued arm in the second week of the preseason really something to complain about? Reports are that Kap is on track to return next week. This same Kap was Denver's first choice to lead their team this year. I'm not saying our QB situation is ideal, but Denver's is clearly worse.

Yes it is. They said he was 100%. He practiced for a few days. Then his arm got tired. I thought he don't get tired?

Players get injured. It's not uncommon in contact sports. His injury is insignificant.

Well to that I say duh. Not even the point. Don't say he's 100 then say he's not ready 3 days later. Maybe they should catch a clue?

They are hiding something like always.

Okay maybe I'm missing the point. When did they say he was 100% after he injured his shoulder? I remember there being a practice he was seen stretching his arm, then a practice he performed poorly (throwing balls all over the place), then his "planned" off day, then "he has dead arm and needs more time".

They said he was ready to go. 100% cleared to practice. He threw for 2 days. On the 3rd day of practice he was on the field for 15 min with the trainer stretching out his arm. Chips asked him what the deal was. He said he was fine. Then the practice at Kezar was the last time he threw. That's when he said I Do Get Tired.

Stop hyping up a QB competition when Kap isn't even ready to play in a game per Trent.

We have Blaine who's looked like crap.
Driskel who looked like crap.
Ponder who is crap.
Kap who's not ready to do crap.

That's too much crap.

It's going to be a long season

agreed!

Lol Denver still sucks at QB , No Matter what our QB situation is
Maybe my harsh words will light a fire under Blaine and he will go 13/13.

Were you expecting 12-4?

This was going to be a long year no matter what. They could be substantially improved and still only win 5 or 6 games. That is how rebuilding works.

What I'm looking for is positive signs from younger players, the core of the next 49ers playoff team. They look to be moving in the right direction with a real NFL coaching staff but they still need to address some areas. You werent going to do all of that in a single offseason.

In other words, we should treat our regular season like preseason: improvement and experience?
For now, it's Sanchez, the 29-year-old veteran acquired from the Philadelphia Eagles for a conditional seventh-round draft pick in a March trade, vs. Siemian, 24, a seventh-round pick out of Northwestern last year whose regular-season experience consists of one kneel-down.

Even if you are a homer Denver fan, just reading that

Huh? He was 100% and cleared to practice at the start of camp. The practice he was seen stretching his throwing shoulder was the one that proceeded the Kesar stadium practice. He had been practicing for over a week up to that point. So, if I understand your argument, you think the trainers lied about Kap being 100% at the start of camp and that his fatigued arm condition happened before camp started?

No. That's not the timeline of what was reported by the practices on 49ers.com. He was seen with the training staff in the 3rd full padded practice. Then he went back out to practice again. Then shut him down after teh Kazar practice. Then he was seen with trainers again. Then all the dead arm talk.

Either way the point still stands that it is an issue to be worried about. Esp. when he's making like $12m to sit around and be tired.

All of this.

And anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional.
It's time for OVERREACTION football. I can't wait!

Hope Blaine goes 6 for 6 with 7 TDs or this place will be unbearable.

Yes, Denver's quarterback situation is worse than the 49ers. Kap and gabbert are a lot better than butt fumble and a guy that finished his last year in college with what 10 ints and 7 tds. I think the Chiefs and raiders are going to battle for the division sad to say. Denver IMO would of won the division if they had kap at qb bc he is better than the s**t on their team now.

Even if he does, it won't be enough. If the second teamers don't do the same, lol. Look at what was written after we scored a 1st qtr TD for the first time in forever, and rolled up 300 yards in the first half of the preseason opener ... You would think the world ended.

True. Obviously you CAN win a Superbowl, especially these days, with a stellar defense, dominate running game and complimentary timely passing game but I think Denner lost too many pieces on D and teams will just stack the run defense and force their QB to pass...that...is not good.
