Welp, most of these above are obviously ridiculous, but my not-so-bold predictions...

• My usual "Gab wins starting job, replaced by Kap near or after the bye" still stands. I think Kap could get us to 6 or 7 wins with the back of the schedule being easier than the front. But there's no way this team gets to 8-8.

• Jim O'Neil is the whipping-boy all season, as Chip's offense has some success, but the defense gets toasted all year.

• Garrett Celek has a decent year, almost to a point where you want to start him in fantasy off the wire, but you still know it's a bad idea. Vance McDonald does nothing special, again.

• Chip wears out Carlos Hyde just like Tomsula did.

• Bruce Ellington becomes the go-to man on offense as Torrey is constantly double'd.

• Jeff Driskel never sees the field until 2017.
