Blaine Gabbert - should go without saying, I have to wonder how well he'll do in the new offense now that we're in the real games.

Anthony Davis - excited to see his transition to starting RG.

Trenton Brown - anxious to watch how he fares against another top DL.

Arik Armstead - want to see what kind of growth he's made since last season.

Navorro Bowman - looking forward to seeing his progression another year removed from the injury.

Tank Carradine - very excited to see him rushing the edge at OLB for the first time in a regular season game.

Eli Harold - hopeful to see a lot of progress to his pass-rush game.

Jeremy Kerley - excited to see what he can do in the slot and for our return game.

Torrey Smith - I'm hopeful he gets utilized a lot more.

Vance McDonald - I'm hopeful he continues to hang on to the ball the way he did in the pre-season. He took some big hits and saw a few less-than-perfect throws but managed to catch them this time instead of flipping them ridiculously into the air for picks like last year. Again, hoping he's turned it around because I was nearly done with him.

Where's my boy Ray-Ray. He, Tank and Tartt will be the most exciting players to watch on D

Anyone worried about our secondary going into this game?

No. At least not vs LA Rams.

I am concerned about our run defense though.

what's there to worry about? No one can run through AA and DB

This will be a HUGE test for our oline!

I am worried about our run defense when purcell and dial are both in there at the same time.

I noticed Dial getting knocked off the ball quite a few times during the preseason. Our left side of the dine will be tested immediately.
Ray-Ray seemed to be the most explosive player in pre-season...but then again, it's not the real game.

He was released from the Rams and the Raiders in successive years, so that does not give much confidence either.

Hope he really has talent and can help this team. Fingers crossed.

If it weren't for a missed field goal the Bills would have beaten the Giants.
If it weren't for a missed field goal, the Seahawks would have been one in done in the playoffs last year.
If it weren't for a missed TD pass the Niners would have won SB XXVII.

We could go on and on. A FG is part of the game and another play that has to be made. Teams win when they make more plays than the other team. So please stop this b******t.

We could go on and on, but those are all facts that shouldn't be ignored.

But before you gt your panties in a twist all I was saying is that Case Keenum actually had a decent game vs the 49ers. Just making a note of that missed field goal.

If two INTs weren't dropped against the Giants and Cardinals we would have been 7-9 last year.

See? I can play this game too.

Man that was such a cool story, do you have time to tell it again.

If Antonio Brown was suiting up for the Rams I would be.

Jimmie Ward actually had good man coverage on Tavon Austin last game. And I don't even who their #2 receiver is, shoot I don't think they know either. The secondary should be fine if Tank can come through with some pressure.

I'm very worried about the 49er run defense. I can see both defenses coming in with the same game plan - stop the run game and dare the QB and the WRs to beat them. Lots of 8 in the box until the QBs can prove they can throw the ball.

Seriously, it wasn't an argument, just an observation of Case Keenum, so much immaturity in here about "If this" and "If that", damn didn't know it was against the rules to say that.

Anyway moving on.

9ers "should" win, but u know.......9ers
I think I'm in the minority with my confidence in our secondary.

I trust them with a stellar pass rush

But that might not happen until Lynchy returns

Excited to see what RayRay can do.

Hoping he can maintain composure.

He plays with the throttle wide open - which is both good and bad.

Agreed. I think the D is going to get gouged on the ground big time this year.
