This.
Chip wants Kaep on this team. Kaep being active and as the #2 QB is the most obvious sign they are willing to put him in if gab goes down.
I think its possible he's traded before the deadline. Denver could still be a suitor. Kaep can be a little more exciting than the dude they got right now. Also #2 is the only logical spot to put him. Honestly I think Gabbert thrives under Chip and won't be surprised if he ends up back next year as the #1. Hell if Gabbert is back as the starting QB, the niners can go after a WR in the 1st round.

I would love for that to happen. Gabs plays great and hangs on to the QB position going forward. That means we don't have to take a QB high in the draft and we can concentrate on drafting a receiver. I would cream my pants if this happened.

Predictions: Vance McDonald goes for 6 catches 80yds and a TD. Jeremy Kurley will catch a team high 8 passes. Torry Smith will only have one catch but it will be a big one. Anthony Davis and Trent Brown will be praised for their great play during the game and following all week. Beadles will struggle and Garnett will start week 2. Gurley will average under 3yds a carry. Tank Carradjne will have 2 sacks. Jimmy Ward will not allow a catch.
49ers- 23 Rams- 13
Let's go!

Sounds good, Stubby. Maybe, throw in a big game for Hyde and Gabbert.

Mid season trades are pretty much nonexistent. With the way the Denvers QB played I think they stick it out with him while lynch learns on the bench
I really hope gab can take this second chance to prove himself and prove himself well
Next year we def are going to load up on receivers

Hyde will have a tough game but he will do his job. I think Gabbert will play a solid, mistake free game.

I'm amazed that anyone here still holds out hope that any of the other 31 teams would trade for a broken qb who's not accurate, has off field baggage, and appears to be regressing as the years go by.

I guess LA is starving for football. I heard on hard knocks the rams broke the record for attendance in a preseason game.

20$ tickets to a stadium that holds a 100k for NFL game that hasn't been played in over 20 years..I can see that happening
Too bad they didn't get the same results for season tix
