probably a lot. the rams defense is gonna be upset that they've been on the field so little. With all the quick 3 and outs.

Have you watched a game coached by Chip?

"Running the clock down" does not appear in his playbook.

Haha Chaz

K
how good do you guys thing the rams D will be this year? I think they will be average this season

The notable top performers are aaron donald, robert quin, and trumaine johnson. Aaron Donald is a stud. Quinn looked like he regressed last year after he broke out in 2014. Trumaine Johnson is pretty solid. Other than them are there arent any players that really jump out?

Their LB Ogletree is pretty good. DBs, not sure. But man, I wish we had a DL like that.
we just gotta double team or triple team Donald... and then hope for the best. I like our outside tackles against their ends.

then with sometime Gabbert can exploit their secondary. We'll see.

This first game is SO important for us. it is a winnable game. We Can NOT lose this game. if we can win this on and the Cowboys one.. worse case we would start the season 2-2

You gotta run at Donald whose game is having his elite burst trying to shoot gaps as if every down is a pass play and can take himself out of the run game, Michael a rockers is a good run stopping DT next to him doe so it's a solid tandem. Ogle tree plays MLB now so their OLBs IMO are a ? Ej Gaines might be out week 1, Joyner seems to be a lil shaky and is 5'8... Put Burbridge/Streater/a TE on him and see what happens.

I feel really good about this chess match and Kelly looking to make a statement, comes from the college game so he knows if we blow out the Rams, Panthers either lose or get an ugly win VS Den... We could come out and punch them in the mouth and start out 2-0 w/the momentum/atmosphere feel from week1.

If we can start out 3-2, even 2-3, the next 3 games VS Bills, and Buccs,Saints at home... All winnable IMO.

If we do start out 2-0, I can't help but say I'll be the happiest dog ever w/a possible magic season starting out 4-1 with the following 3 games all being more than winnable.

I'm prepared for the worst, but hoping for the best... I do the same thing with girls, so everyday there's a chance it could be it I reel in a nice fish&if I don't well atleast I was out there fishing and enjoyed myself in the process lol.

If we start the season off 2-1, I'll wonder what the heck happened. That means we beat the Panthers or Seahawks in their house somehow.

The last 2 years Seattle has started out slow so may be able to steal one there.

I don't really see a possibility of beating Carolina in a short week. - put Kap in - he has beat them in their house in the playoffs

Rams fans like my brother had to talk themselves into Fisher staying due to the move to LA, there's a reason he has the nick name five hunnit Fisher lol.. Kinda like the same reason they wanted to trade up and make a splash for Goff, who looks like what was a very reasonable concern... A spread quarterback from Cal, now going up against NFL talent. Rams better be careful or he could have an Alex Smith/Gabbert type of career start if they don't solidify their OL&get a legit offensive HC so he's not running different systems every year.

Sneads a solid GM IMO that's young, I don't think Fisher staying and trading up for Goff were his decisions doe.

Carolinas offense was like ours from 2012, that's what it reminded me of... IMO if you're a disciplined team w/good coaching, it's not hard to contain and nothing special. That type of year where you say well read option and play action until the wheels fell off and it did so hard in the SB. They're a good running team, that has shaky pass protection, you gotta take the lead on them and keep Cam in the pocket. Honestly same formula VS Sea. Which now thinking about it is a good thing having them back to back as far as preparing for similar traits between the two teams and thus hoping we end up splitting between the 2...be effing ecstatic if we win both and start out 3-0.
