No, we tightened.

Probably means more then ONE PERSONS opinion.

Except it really doesnt. Stats without context dont mean much. Film gives them context. Big Ben played an incredible game and made some incredible throws throughout his game. To say that Gabberts performance stacks up anywhere near that is silly.

Kaepernick even in 2014 was racking up high QBRs even though you could visibly see that he had regressed.

Case Keenum, he of many 3 and outs and 2 INTs had a higher QBR this week than Russell Wilson who led his team down the field to a win.

Its an interesting stat but doesnt tell you more than actual film does.

Lol seriously, if you can't see this from watching both games then I don't know what to tell you.

Big Ben also has Antonio Brown, Big Ben also faced an inferior defense. Big Ben also threw an INT, fumbled and almost threw a couple more.

Big Ben is obviously light years better than Gabbert, but you're failing to be objective here.

If you dont have a link then it doesn't count. We can't possibly have our own opinions.

Ben's stats: 73.0% complete, 300 yards, 3 TD's, 1 INT, 112.4 QB rating

Gabbers's stats: 62.9% complete, 170 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT's, 84.2 QB rating

No one in their right mind would say Gabbert played even remotely as good as Ben and he lucked out on about three passes that should have been easy picks.

People need to stop drinking so much during games and actually watch them.

They rip because 49er "fans" allow this. Every other fan base I know even when their team is wounded will defend them even when they'er not a couple years removed from a Champ Game appearance.

New York and Philly media rip pretty good but you are correct. The problem here is the writers want to be the story so they create narratives and pass them off as fact. It's how Kawakami almost got his ass kicked by that Raiders coach. They took up the Ira Miller mantle.
Oh man, I missed the beginning of Cossell's evaluation of the players we drafted. Caught the part about him saying the LB Warner moves around like a Safety. He also said that he's really interested in Tarvarius Moore because he pops off the screen and his measurables are off the charts.

Most of his analysis on players we have or have had on the 49ers has been spot on way more often than not. Very interested to hear what he said about McG and Pettis.

He said he mainly saw Pettis as a slot guy....but he doesn't doubt Kyle's assessment
