Fred Quillan, center on #49ers first two Super Bowl teams, has passed away. He was 60.

I always had a soft spot for Fred Quillan. I grew up in the Bay Area and was in High School from 81-85 and played center predominantly, so of course I had to wear #56.

R.I.P Mr. Quillan . . . Way too young

He was a rock solid anchor on two championship O-lines. Prayers out to his family. We miss players like Fred Quillan, the guy just went about doing his job and did it so very well...
RIP Fred Quillan...great player from the golden years.

Damn, football players always die young....

Bummer to read this. That 80s line was small, but effective thanks to the late great Bob McKittrick.

I saw Keith Fahnhorst on TV last week and he looks like hell.
