Good For all you fans wishing for a loss.

Way to go Kaep

Lol ya don't worry bout that he'll be going in one game. Keep cheering for the underachiever who missed a wide open 85 2 times at a 6 yard line with a minor trophy on the line. Nothing wrong with wishing the best in getting the top defensive prospect in a generation. Goo Kaep lol

Thank you.

You play to win the game, not for draft positioning. And I think it's disloyal to wish for your your team to lose for draft positioning. I want my team to win, I pick my team to win every week, and believe the will win until we actually have loss.

That's the benefit of being a fan. We can be happy for Kelly and the players and still be bummed we missed out on the #1 pick.

without requesting our QB, who got the game winning TD and 2PT conversion, be shipped to Afghanistan to die....

Another bewildering post.

This guy's upset that the team and the QB whom he thinks isn't credible brought the team back from a 2 TD deficit on the road. Then claims to not watch the team again?

These are the same people that will destroy that 1st round pick if he struggles though. So fixated on the QB they don't even realize how much is wrong with this team.

Bet Rams fans feel good about getting the #1 pick. Sure Browns fans have been elated about their top picks.

You need a TEAM to win in this league. There's a reason why bad teams stay bad even with top picks. Because they can't coach, can't develop, can't do anything right.

You think getting a QB means the team will be functional? Man, good luck to you. We need to draft a QB and like 10 other spots. Need to build a TEAM and a culture.

No s**t! Thanks for teaching us this is a team sport.
Oh draft day 2017 is going to be a fun day for sure now.

Really looking forward to 4 months of repeatedly hearing how winning today cost us a chance at "insert draft crush here".

Excuse my precious post. I had to record the 2nd half and watch it later, so it's still fresh.

Here's what's wrong with this team... Our coaching staff is trash and we lack playmakers on the roster.

Trent has put together a talented defensive unit. Injuries, a terrible DC, and a miserable offense has all been a perfect storm for our inability to stop anyone. We need a NT, OLB and ILB depth. Got it. This unit is on the rise.

Our offense is a trainwreck. Chip's system is adequate, but he doesn't have a QB that can accurately deliver the ball to his WRs. This WR corp is the worst I've ever seen. Trent has to own that. Hyde is a solid player, but he's the only threat we have.

To me, it all comes down to coaching. I don't think Chip is the answer. I think Kyle Shannahan is the best coach available because he has a proven system. It works regardless of the personnel. As in Atlanta, its deadly with the right personnel.

At the QB position, we need something bad. I've been a Kaepernick fan, but I can't support him anymore. I disagree with his non-football stuff, but that's not it. He's too inconsistent and doesn't have the arm talent to be a franchise QB. Grappollo is an option, but he's risky. NE makes every QB look great. It's the most QB-friendly system ever. Grap/Cassel/Brady, doesn't matter. That goes back to excellent coaching and having a successful system in place.

We lack too many pieces to be winning right now. Trent isn't the answer to build the offense and until we get a QB, it won't really matter anyway.

I was hoping he would come back and make a splash this year under Chip. He looked to be improving dramatically until Chicago and then went back to meh.

Looked pretty good today. Dominated that 4th QTR
I really liked the way the players were encouraging each other all game long. I feel good for them that they got the win. It was a bit of an ugly win, but they won it because they stayed scrappy. The offensive line didn't play particularly well by NFL standards but considering how much it was a totally cobbled together group, I gotta give them credit for doing as well as they did. I think we might be beginning to see that the young guys are benefiting from getting playing time.
We're whining over nothing. Clv is still taking the qb.

I think a good amount of you don't seem to understand that.

He was still inconsistent in the 4th quarter. He did have some series of plays where he looked crisp in his decision making and pretty well on target - usually when he was able throw receptions with bullet passes. But there were still errant passes and too many passes where his placement made it a tougher catch than it needed to be. Overall he played pretty well, but it was disappointing to see that he hasn't consistently been improving on his consistency. I haven't given up on the idea that Kap may lead some team with the right offensive scheme and talent to winning records, but I'm still not convinced that it may not be better for the team to move on. I'd hate to see the 9ers let Kap go, though, without having a solid idea of who they intend to replace him with that they are convinced can do a better job.

That wasn't cool to say...not sure who said that...but I'm sure as a fan of this team , beyond Kaepernick, you can understand a fans annoyance with THIS being Kaepernick's only win and 4Q comeback given the circumstances and given nobody believes he's going to even be here next year.

Well, at least we were #1 for four hours.
