chip isn't going anywhere and baalke may be gone, but no credible GM would want to come here...
We don't know any of that.

it's only one pick....and if a new HC or GM was really going to get excited for the #1 overall pick, it would be for a year when there is a Once in a Life time type QB available.

I don't understand why anyone would rather pick 2nd overall instead of 1st or go 2-14 instead of 1-15.
Unless there is some unbelievable type QB at #1.... I'd rather finish a season with wins, with proof that our team is making a turn... to get excited for next year...to have momentum going into next year.
but yeah I'm not talking about 2 wins or anything.. more like going on a 3 win streak.... that's out for us.. but if we did look great today and great against Seattle..then I'd feel better... but if we look great today and look bad against the Seahawks...f**k that s**t Chip.

who will be our "savior" with the #1 pick?
The #1 pick is most valuable to a team that is only one man away from a real shot at a SB. A team with our roster should trade back just a few spots to pick up extra very high picks.

In theory, sure but since there's no "Luck" in the draft is there really THAT big a diff between #1 and #2? I say NO.

The advantage is you have the whole off season to take the best trade, with everybody still on the board, as opposed to 15 minutes with the top man gone.
Same on day 2.
