Maybe Vrabel for DC or Crennel if O'Brien gets the boot.

I could be quite content with Vrabel at DC and McCoy at OC.

Me too!

Wouldn't McDaniels run his own o? I know McCoy was the OC before but he's more established now

That is always a possibility although if McDaniels were to call his own plays, the OC would transition to more of a run game coordinator and offensive advisor.

If joshy mc gets hired, maybe he can promote the NE QB coach to be his OC.

He is the NE QB coach.

Brian Daboll would be a great OC for McDaniels but most likely he takes over as OC in NE.

Still unsure about McDaniels. He was with Bill for 8-9 years and still thought it was a great idea to waste a 1st round pick on a QB that couldn't throw. His offense was inept at St. Louis and he rode the Bill/Brady offense after that.

I was thinking about this earlier but all this hype on Garappolo reminds of when Matt Flynn took over for Rodgers and he shined for a few games then signed with Seattle in hopes to be the answer at qb over Tavaris Jackson and looked how that turned out lol

Once again you're talking about vastly different QB's. Garoppolo was a 2nd round pick that set records in college, has the skillset that NFL teams are looking for.

Flynn was a 7th rounder. He had a few nice games and made himself some $$$$ but he never had the talent that Garoppolo possesses.

It's crazy how many times this must be explained to people here lol. I see at least 5-10 cassel/Flynn comparisons a day. He is neither of those scrubs, and a little research would show that. I guess it's easier to make bland comparisons though.

Jim Harbaugh did pretty much the same thing. One kind of worked out one didn't... McDainels was only in Denver for a year and half. Not enough time to develop anyone.

How does were they were drafted somehow not make the comparison valid? So because they were a late round pick that means somehow they are less players and were destined to fail, while someone drafted early must have the talent meaning they wont bust? So did Clip Kelly fail because he failed to maximize Blaine Gabbert 1st round talent? Is it okay if Dak regresses next year because he was taken in the 4th round & that means he just isn't that good?

JH proved his worth at San Diego and Stanford. You saw that he could hold his own and he could produce QBs. Josh Johnson maxed out his potential. Same with Kap, Alex, and Andrew Luck. You can't say the same with McD. Not even close. NE didn't even want to keep Tebow to develop and trade because that's how horrible he was. Yet McD still thought he was worth a 1st round pick.

McD hasn't shown that his offense can do anything special. Not in Denver. Not in STL.

The rumors of McDaniels potentially being interested aren't enough for you? Stuff like that is probably the most you're going to get over the next week.
