He's an intriguing option. I'd prefer someone with coordinator experience, but Vrabel has been around good defenses both as a player and a assistant. At some point he will be ready to take the leap.

Possibly. Hotshot young assistants like that rise up the ranks surprisingly quickly. Thats why I'd prefer a Fangio type. Career coordinator with a ton of experience and can do some great things with the right talent.
