Only makes sense if Shanahan wanted him as well.

Ok, then I don't understand what is troubling about trying to get him joing Kyle's staff

Shouldn't Kyle be able to assemble his own staff? He has obligations to the Falcons right now and I doubt he told Jed and Paraag "go ahead and assemble a staff for me."

That is largely what Dan Quinn did while still with the Seahawks. The majority of his staff was being put together while he was still with Seattle. Its not that hard to get some names out there, to have intermediaries contact them and establish interest to start putting a staff together.

If he gonna be our HC is Gus Bradley gonna be the standard?

Doesn't really make sense. Why would he pull out right after talking to Denise?
What's the deal with Denise? Why the local media making a big deal about her interviewing him? What about if Denise asked him about his troubled past, especially beating women? Maybe Denise told him he won't get hired. Hopefully all these won't scare Kyle off
And then...Jed's mommy calls in!!! LOL...that place is a dumpster fire.

I down with bashing Yorks when they deserve it, but is it really a big deal? Who cares

Tim Kawakami Retweeted Tom Dooley

Certainly the odds-on scenario, at this point. But let's see it play out. They went much further than this with Adam Gase 2 years ago, FYI.

Tim Kawakami added,

Tom Dooley @Duells06
@timkawakami according to @MikeSilver Kyle is going to accept a multi-year offer, so maybe we'll be alright....

2 things:

1. They certainly did not get THIS far with Gase (wherein Shanny is the only candidate left while Gase, Tomsula and maybe one other were still in contention when it was decided on Tomsula)

2. Gase was gonna accept and only didnt because he never got the final offer. Theres no Tomsula candidate to get the offer instead of Shanny this time around.

TK just loves negativity.

Oh f**k off Kawakami.

TK fails to mention that BAALKE chose Tomsula over Gase

Wasn't there some question as to whether Tomsula was a York stooge that was promoted at their behest?

Depends who you choose to listen to. At the time the popular narrative was that Baalke was ready to hire Gase, but York stepped in and chose Tomsula. Then once Baalke got fired, the narrative flipped that it was Baalke who stepped in at the last second and stopped Gase from being hired.

I don't know what to believe, and at this point, it does no good to speculate. Baalke is gone and we know Jed is not clean in any of this. Hiring Shanahan is a good start and I'm actually pretty confident they'll pair him with a good GM.

Here's an interesting article for us Shanahan supporters.

Where are you guys getting this? I haven't seen it anywhere.
