Shanahan seems like a good choice. Figured everyone in here would be happy.

If we get Wolf or Gutekunst I'll be even happier.

If we get Garoppolo or Cousins then Jed deserves a gold star

I'm happy with how this is going so far but Jed gets absolutely nothing from me until we win a Super Bowl like he promises every year.

Hope KS trades for Romo.

He's gonna be released no one is reading anything for him and that contract....Romo will pick where he wants to go

Dallas would take a major cap hit if they released him. They'll try to deal him methinks...

ESPN Cowboys reporter Todd Archer ultimately expects Dallas to release Tony Romo this offseason.

Romo

I actually think Romo would fit Shanahan's offense very well, but the dude's body is broken. I wouldn't trust him to last 6 games, let alone 16.

Can't stay healthy behind the best OL in football lol....if anyone is trading for him the cowboys would have to eat most of that contract cause none is paying $24 million for a broken back 37 yr old qb

I bet they release him so he can choose where he wants to go.
Hopefully this thread locks soon

If someone breathes on Romo, he will be out for a year

Big takeaway from @MikeSilver's tweets right now? Tom Cable is very well respected in NFL circles.
I guess the NFL circle likes wife beaters and hotheads. Why doesn't Ray Rice have a job yet?

Disgusting if true. Would say a lot about the real attitudes in the NFL rather than the attempt to be politically correct. If most players and coaches see spousal abuse as no big deal the NFL is a much more difficult ship to steer for Roger. Also makes Rice look like a sacrificial lamb.

Hmm. Not a huge fan of Romo, but he may be a good stopgap solution.

My take of Romo is he had incredible talent but lacked common sense much of the time. If that's true, is he the guy you want helping young QBs learn the position? I think I'd rather have Shaun Hill, lose a few more games to get better draft picks and develop the young guys quickly.

He's not going to a team to be a stop gap...he's wants to win so Denver makes too much sense.

37 yr old qb doesn't want to be part of a rebuild
