Lets just have every OL thats made a Pro Bowl with the 49ers be an OL coach. They could run the meetings as a group.

Or if you want a real OL coach, pick someone thats qualified.

Sounds like Saleh is only keeping Fangio or another DC's seat warm...

Totally disagree!

Fangio's D wasn't nearly as good a Seacraps.

When Justin went down so did the secondary's performance as well as Aldon's.

Saleh was quality control for Seattle. He was basically the film sorting assistant. He obviously knows and runs that system, but it doesn't mean he can replicate it.

Without Earl Thomas, Richard Sherman, and Kam Chancellor the Seattle D is pretty basic.

Yeah, I don't get the thinking behind that logic.

Shanahan&Lynch to the coaches/players: "Yeah guys let's switch to a 4-3 defense this year so we can switch back to 3-4 next year and start all over again. Lets also draft and sign players for the 4-3 scheme this year to one year deals because we won't need them next year and we'll get players for that other scheme because its that easy. Okay boys!!"

Coaches/Players: Got it coach!! Ready!! Break!!

10 players got their hands up... "Everyone get in their position groups, set the tone for the day men, let's go to work!".

Yup, its still a fluid situation. Benton recently signed on to be the assistant OL coach in Denver, but he could still end up here as our OL coach.

Benton is their assistant offensive line coach. Eventhough any move can be blocked except for a promotion to head coach, I can't ever recall seeing a assistant position coach getting blocked for an upgrade to the position coach on another team.

Sounds like Denver granted us permission

They already granted us permission I believe
Well, on the surface Benton has experience, no denying that.

Been saying that Benton makes the most sense. Longtime OL coach in Houston including when Shanahan was there.

As the assistant OL coach in Denver he is rather expendable.

And quite frankly, in terms of OL coaches with tangible experience in the scheme, he is pretty much all that is left.
