He actually was with the Raiders and Lions from 2003-2008, so Erickson was the douche who didn't retain him. Nolan brought him back in 2008 right before he got canned.

Both of these guys would be REALLY good to have to support a first time HC.

I like the idea of importing a group of experienced coaches from Kubiak that are both familiar with the system and each other. That could be huge for a new HC.
Outside of GM, though, DC is the spot I'm most interested in since the offense will be Kyle's anyway. Both guys we've been connected to so far (Bradley and Manuel) are from the Carroll tree. Manuel has only coached for 5 years (1 on ST, 4 secondary). I'd rather pair a new HC with an experienced DC, but that pool is dwindling.
