I agree with the poster that said he feels more positive than since we got rid of Mariucci.I just hope Kyle is what he seems to be.

And maybe even Aaron Kromer for O-Line? (They worked together in 2005 with Tampa)

The only way you could get either guy was if we offered them a coordinator position. Can't cross hire a coach under contract. I do think LaFleur is a possibility to be an OC candidate on Kyle's staff.

Rams are looking at Kromer for their OC spot.

I'm fascinated where Kubiak OFF coaching staff: R.Dennison, C.Barone, B.Pariani, G.Knapp end up this cycle. Have been together for a while.

Assuming K.Shanahan takes the SF job, this could be a great group to build his OFF staff from.

Rick Dennison: OC
Greg Knapp: QB
Clancy Barone: OL
Brian Pariani: TE

I would love something like this.

I could also see Bobby Turner brought in as OC, much like Modkins for Chip. Turner has been with the Shanahans for a long time. He was with the Broncos from 1995-2009, then followed Shanahan to the Redskins from 2010-2014. Now he's with Kyle in Atlanta.

Running backs have had success everywhere he's been, I'd love to bring him in

Kinda think Rathman will stick around a RB coach...particularly with a WCO that'll need a new fullback.

That would be sweet also

Turner should get a lot of consideration given how long he worked with Mike Shanahan, and now Kyle. He could want that continuity. I'd hate to lose Rathman, but wouldn't be upset with Turner

So... who do we pick up as a FB? Is Miller still in trouble?

Yes. Either a rookie or a FA.

Pat DiMarco is a free agent. He could potentially follow Shanahan.

You can if the other team gives permission. If its not a promotion to head coach or GM it is a lateral move. QB coach to OC is a lateral move, still an assistant position.

Usually what teams do is give a departing coach a few "freebies" to take with them, guys who may not be high level assistants and can be replaced fairly easily.

Yeah, I was going to suggest Dennison.

I think as long as everyone realizes this won't be an overnight fix we'll be good. Will take a few seasons.
What about ATL LB Coach Jeff Ulbrich for DC
