Steelers you can say that about almost every position, which is crazy, the steelers are up there with one of the best ran organization ever..seems like somehow they stay relevant..

Luke Getsy, Karl Dorrell and Matt LaFleur as OC candidates.

Would love Aaron Kromer as O-Line coach.
Bill Kollar for D Line.
Frank Bush and Tarver at LB's

Would LOVE Raheem Morris as DB's coach but NOT as DC

This. Kromer and Kollar are two of the best coaches in the NFL in their position field. They would be great additions. I think Lafleur or Rick Dennison are almost a sure bet to be the OC.

It's also very likely that Brian Pariani will be brought on as the tight ends coach. He has long term ties to Mike Shanahan, going all the way back to 1992.

Eventhough, there are no ties between Kyle and him as far as I know. Pepper Johnson would be worth a look on the defensive staff, maybe as a linebackers coach.

With Shanahan they can hire me as the OC and I would get pain to do nothing!

Lol. Believe it or not. OC's that don't call plays can still have a big impact on the offense.
I'd still like to go after very experienced guy for DC. Leave him alone and let him do what he wants to do on that side of the ball. Very important to bring in an experienced DC who doesn't need a lot of oversight from a first time HC, imho.

I agree, but at the same time I feel like you can still go younger if they're good teachers as long as there's an assistant coach (preferably a previous Defensive HC) around to that's had HC experience to help out Kyle.

Matt Maiocco ‏@MaioccoCSN
Hearing it's unlikely Kyle Shanahan will be allowed to bring any Falcons position coaches to staff with #49ers once hiring becomes official.

Definitely going to be tough locking down assistant coaches. Even building the coaching staff might take another offseason.

Most of the Kubiak guys are still available.

Yeah, I think at best he will be able to get Mike McDaniel and maybe somehow Raheem Morris.

Doubt that they'll force a guy like Morris to stick around if he wants to leave. Probably rules out Marquand Manuel and Matt LaFleur though.
Tom Rathman is damn near a given.

Would have liked to have Pat Flaherty back as Oline coach.. but he's gone already. Thought he did a good job.

Maybe Azzinaro but honestly would prefer Tomsula (never happen)

How about Mike Pettine? He has a history obviously w/ Shanahan. Wouldn't mind Dean Pees from Baltimore either.

Could we make Dave Toub Assistant Head Coach? Lol

Assistant Head Coach is largely a meaningless title. Might as well be "Football Coaching Master of the Universe." Youre still an assistant.

That's a very good point in the fact that Kyle not only has the benefit of his own connections, but the network of connections through his father as well.
OP updated with all your suggestions. Great work guys...keep it up.
