Per source new 49ers G.M. John Lynch will hire a personnel specialist as his No. 2. He already knows who it will be.

Either this hire will make Jed and Co look like absolute geniuses or it will fully confirm that this is the worst run franchise in football. I'm not too optimistic, they made it way too complicated going with too many moving parts instead of hiring an accomplished executive who would have a far lesser learning curve.
