This was the one time we needed someone with eperience. I could see this move if the team had talent but just needed some tweeks. This team is starting at the ground level. So to get a 1st time GM and HC. Good luck.

Lynch didn't beat out any GMs...he was basically the only guy left that would take the job. As expected, we got a guy that no one else courted or wanted.

Lol, f**k it. At the very least its an interesting hire. If this is who Shanahan wanted, I'll roll with it.

I like Lynch as a person, just amazed he got the job with zero front office experience. He is a football guy, I guess.

Lynch + Former personnel guy + Kyle Shanahan is a home run.

What is the problem? That is a clear upgrade across the board.

Exactly why would they be drafting for the Tampa 2 defense? Lynch also played for Shanahan in Denver. Why would what scheme the GM ran as a player matter? The scheme is Shanahan's department.
