CMC
Mitchell
Wilson
Davis Price
Coleman
Mason

I'd keep Mitchell but if the price is right i'd be willing to trade anyone!!! Trading Wilson for a 5th or 6th rounder seems the most logical choice.

None of those guys have much of any trade value except maybe Mitchell and Wilson. And like you said they should keep Mitchell. CMC is prone to get hurt and I'd like to have Mithcell on deck. Really they need to split time

Who on this team isn't prone to injury? Seems like every starter has been injured at one time or another.

add DEEVAH on that list since he's not a TRUE receiver..

Is that a problem?

Yeah. I'm not a fan of the trade either.

I think he's played a total of 10 games over the past two seasons and now he'll be playing for a team where no RB seems to be able to stay healthy.

What could possibly go wrong.

As Kyle Shanahan said this morning, "This is football. Injuries happen. If we allow the possibility of an injury stop us we will be frozen and do nothing."

Other than the threat of injury, why don't you like the trade?

Yep

I think this injury thing is overrated. He was the Panthers entire offense. He's not going to receive that kind of volume here.

Asking Deebo to be that player Mostert or what Mitchell was drew too much attention. I understand the move, but I still think it's execution and the offense-focused HC has to get his players to execute on offense.

Maybe Shanny feels like this buys him more time for his guys - particularly newer players on the OL and just the O in general reps to get in football shape. If last season is a good template, the lightbulb took a bit of time to come on and we had a similar record at this point in the season. CMCs speed and vision does make OZ way more effective and puts immediate pressure on defenders in the same way Mostert's speed and vision did. Again execution and risk of injury have to be considered given this team's history of not being able to keep its better players healthy enough to finish seasons.

Yeah it's football but I'd rather have the team take less of a risk and a lower price with picks we will need if this all doesn't work out into a SB appearance. We're banking the season on Jason Verret, Jake Brendel and CMC. John and Kyle have some monster balls because that's a huge, huge bet.

Every year it takes Kyle 6 to 8 weeks to figure out how the league has evolved to stop what he was doing last year.
This move makes sense, best pass catching running back since Roger Craig and Ricky Watters.

I hope that's the case .
it can't be the injuries right
One bad thing about it. This team gives away draft picks like candy to kids at Halloween. We don't have a decent draft class until 2024 or 2025.

Ok, but I thought people wanted us to go all-in, ala the Rams?

Yea CMC + Shanny just makes sense. I'll take a guy that we know is an absolute stud and perfect match for our offense over some draft picks. I love the move

I was thinking to myself what will they do with all these backs, plus what about the other injured players, if/when they come back, great problem to have, glad I'm not Lynch.

I'm not completely sure we are the 2019 49ers. I'm not sure this team is that good. Or if we are that close. Maybe if we get healthy at the end of the season we could approach close to that. But a lot of games will be lost along the way. So I don't think we will have a high seed. It will be a long tough road on the road. Which we have shown at times we can do. Still selling the future of the franchise has a lot of downsides. This outcome is also uncertain. Especially at 3 - 3.
