John Lynch - 49ers GM

We should all give John Lynch credit because if he didn't make that trade for CMC when he did, the Rams would have beaten and embarrassed the 49ers yesterday. Let's not forget that CMC was going to the Rams until Lynch upped those draft picks. What CMC did to the Rams, he would have done to the 49ers, if not worse. The Rams had a bye week which means they would have installed a package to beat the 49ers with CMC. If it's wasn't for Lynch, today would not be a good day to be a 49ers fan going into a bye week. Of course we got the guy, won in impressive ways, and now go into a bye where we can get healthier and install more packages for CMC.

if we were to make another move, this will be the time since we'll have an extra week to incorporate said player if another trade is done.

The moment the trade news broke, I was like "wow that's a lot of picks… but I'm excited so hope it works out!"

Then I immediately saw that the Rams were going after him too and I was like "oh yeah f them picks. Absolutely worth it. Anything to keep them from getting yet ANOTHER star gift-wrapped to them."

As long as CMC and Eli stay healthy, getting Wilson for a 5th is a very good trade, and is a nice gesture for Wilson who can get playing time with MIA.

What is this talk about Suh being signed? Is he waiting on the street for a deal and GMs need to get past a particular game so there's no guarantee and just a vets minimum?

I wouldn't mind Suh to bring in some nastiness to the group. He could help McGlinchy on the other side as well. Kukurick(sp?) worked with him in Det so they have history.

Would have been great if they could have gotten Payne but lack of draft capital understandably made that difficult.
